A tall boy wearing nothing but black clothes, with long loose black hair walked down the halls, eyes slightly droopy, mouth opening wide as he yawned. He lifted his hand, attempting to cover his mouth as he yawned, but it was sort of hard for in one hand he held a rather thick hard covered book, and in the other a cup of coffee. His fingers wrapped around the mug, the warmth seeping through the mug, warming his hand, luckily it wasn't scorching like it had been only moments ago when he first got it from the cafeteria.

It was still rather early in the day, maybe near ten in the morning, he couldn't remember, he just knew he had waken at six in the morning, and he had went to bed late too. Earlier he had left the dorm to take a morning walk, and had stayed out for a few hours before heading back to the dorms where he took a shower, his hair was rather damp.

He made his way towards the lounge where he hoped to read some from the big textbook he had, even if it would prove be be torturous. Jass walked into the lounge, eyes roaming over the place, and as he suspected it was practically empty, except for a couple people who probably woke up early like him.

He walked to a empty chair that looked comfy. When seated he pulled his leg up, opening the book and resting it against his upraised leg, bored silver eyes scanning the page, trying to take in the words, but they weren't sinking in, to make himself remember them, he read paragraph over and over again, only a few words managing to stick. Grumbling something he raised the coffee up, and took a drink from it before balancing it carefully on the arm of the chair which he sat, his hand near it in case nearly falls over.

Tapping a carmine slip-on shoe against the love seat, Grayson yawned. Turning his feet up on the couch's arm, he lay back, chin digging into his sternum. The rottweiler pup opened its eyes on his lap, tongue hanging partially out of its mouth. Grayson grinned and slid a hand on top of its head, massaging the loose, puppy scalp. Brown eyes closed as it panted in satisfaction.

With his other hand, Grayson spun an old black umbrella, his gaze turned on the television. It was off at the moment, but that didn't matter much. He wasn't looking at the television.

He was looking in it.

With little effort his vision flickered, each time peeling away a layer of electronics. A girl sat nearby. But he kept his focus on the television. He'd learned to control those urges some time ago. He decided to take in his fill approximately thirty years beforehand.

Smiling, he let his power fade, seeing the outside of the television once more.

Looking around for something else to waste his time with, he picked up a book and began going through it, appearing to simply be staring at the cover, eyes darting over imaginary text. Every page, he turned the book over to stare at the back of the book cover, just turning the thing over in his hands.

The girl looked up at him, an eyebrow cocked.

Grayson simply shifted his scarf and continued his 'reading'. After a few pages he realized he couldn't recall a word it told him. Not to mention he didn't know the name of the book. Tossing it aside, he got up and walked to the counter, filling a styrofoam cup with coffee.

Jass turned a page over, taking a sip of his coffee every few seconds. Still nothing stuck to him, he was reading the words, but they made little sense to him. Next time remind me to sleep more, he thought, rather annoyed. He looked up, and glance briefly at the few people in the room, but took little interest in them. He was glad there were only a few, but even a few were at risk being around him, but today he seemed to have good control over his powers, he was slightly tempted to try his mind controlling powers.

He thought about that a moment before shrugging it aside. He was disappointed when he drained the last of his coffee. He looked down at the now empty cup in his hand. He set his book now, quite happy doing so, anything to keep himself from trying to understand it.

He stood up and walked towards the counter where another boy was getting some. Just to be polite, Jass gave a small nod of his head, and a "Hi," too as he waited for the boy to finish, when he was, Jass would refill his cup.

Grayson watched as the cup was filled, stopping just below the thicker lip of the cup. Smiling, he sipped it. Never much one for cream or sugar, he took his black, and had for years. Enjoying the rush of liquid wakefulness, he grinned, brushing a drop of spilled coffee off his hand onto his scarf. Turning to look at the boy who'd followed him to the coffee counter.

“Hello there.” He grinned, holding out his hand. The silver-haired boy seemed friendly enough, if quiet. “Grayson Locke. Locke, please.” He said, nodding. From the couch, his dog looked up, walking back and forth over the cushion a couple times before jumping down. Tumbling once he hit, the pup bounced back up and ran across the room, skidding to stop by Locke's foot.

Taking another sip, The older boy set the coffee down and scooped the dog into his arm, scratching its ear with his left hand. The rottweiler gave a content, closed-mouth moan-grunt. Smiling, he patted the dog, holding him close to his sportcoat.
