@Ballerina
Klef.
That was the name of the student the brunette had to find. It was a nice name, to be sure. Klef. It almost sounded musical.
Except this was the first student she wasn't meeting out of pure chance. No, indeed. Aswan had a mission. Said mission? To locate - and educate - a student named Klef. It was extra credit - how could she say no? She was aiming for valedictorian, at least. Maybe more. Maybe even on Student Council - but then, that would require too much energy.
She sighed as she turned the corner and walked out to the library. One of her favorite (and most visited) buildings - surely Klef might be in there? Hopefully - the ghostly girl had no intention of walking all around campus. Definitely not on the amount of steam she had (a minimal amount, about as much as a peppermint tea and a few Mars Bars could provide).
Push open the big doors.
Walk through them - do NOT lose your papers, - they're all here. Look professional.
Aswan aimlessly thought to herself these things, scanning the library for the student named Klef, and hopefully putting on a friendly demeanor. It wouldn't do to scare them away.

Klef sighed. Her grades were at an all time low, which probably didn't say much considering that she only had been in school for a few months, but still, a C- was a C-. If she didn't step up her game soon she'd have to say goodbye to her financial scholarship. It wasn't her fault that her education before high school was taught by a handful of circus performers, a laptop and her uncle. Unfortunately, the knowledge she gained under the tent and on the road had proven to be useless. She always though of herself as someone clever, the type who figures things out before the rest. Her opinion of herself had since changed after being proven wrong countless times in high school. No matter how well she old do a handstand or know miscellaneous animal facts, she never made the grade.

The school was already one step ahead of her in terms of getting back on track with her peers. They managed to recruit a student tutor to help her study and get her back on the honor roll. Klef felt bad for the poor soul who was assigned to her. The idea of having someone older and smarter boss her around again made her want to roll her eyes to the back of her head. Of course, she was going to have to swallow that pride if she wanted to stay in school.

Klef walked into the school's library because that was where smart people hung out, right? Apparently, her tutor was supposed to be lurking around here. Yet it was impossible to spot her when the school gives the vaguest description ever. "She's a brunette named Aswan".

Was she literally a swan? Klef had no clue, how was she ever going to find her tutor if she's never seen the girl's face? She ripped out a sheet of notebook paper and sloppily printed her name onto it, placing it on the table right next to her. If she wasn't able find the tutor perhaps the tutor would be able to find her instead.

Through the tables full of study groups and misplaced books she weaved, her movements smooth and her features unruffled. It had only been a few weeks since she'd arrived, and already she knew the layout of the library like it was her dorm. Small people, tall people, living, dead (like her).... There really were people of all sorts. Looking out across the lot of them, in the relative quiet, was downright soothing. She'd never had this peace and quiet in the library back in Wells - that one was always filled with couples "studying" in the back rooms. Aswan didn't want to think of that one again.

Although - and this was starting to annoy her - the school never gave specific instructions. Twice now, she'd been given vague interpretations. Not specific pictures, information, nothing. Not even a note on what Klef looked like, not to mention her dressing style - it wouldn't do to lose Klef in a crowd without even knowing them.
She herself had a very laid-back style - a loose lavender t-shirt and some jeans she'd thrown on. Not at all professional... But it didn't matter. Not now. Not with a tutorship and... potential friendship? on the line.

Klef.... It took her a little bit to notice the sloppily-printed letters on the sheet next to one particular girl.
This was her. She knew it. Aswan cleared her throat.
"Excuse me. Are you Klef?" she asked, gesturing to the piece of paper sitting by the girl. "I am supposed to tutor someone with that name."

Klet felt stupid having herself known through a makeshift name plate. It reminded her of some of the stuffy desk jobs her uncle had to work. Hopefully, she'd never have to go through the same thing as him; submitting to the will of 'the man'. Maybe if she studied harder she'd be able to avoid that life.

To her surprise, someone actually aproached her half-assed name tag. The girl appeared to be smart, mostly because she was wearing glasses. Klet was was not one to judge the girl's laid back appearance, because she wasn't any better wearing yesterday's hoodie and jeans that looked like they had seen the apocalypse.

" That's me!" Klef replied gesturing to the shakily written letters. It was hard to get a good look at her tutor with her fringe obstructing her view so brushed some of her hair away from her face which revealed a set of eyes that behaved like glow sticks. She had a poker face on, like she was holding back from something.

" -But I'm not sure if you have the right kid, because you don't have a beak or feathers and my tutor is a swan." Klef told her with a cheesy grin. It took her a solid five minutes to come up with that pun. To let such a pun go to waste would be a crime against her fellow jokesters.

"A swan..." It took her a little bit, but after staring blankly at the girl named Klef, she finally got it. It was a pun. Her name... Used in a pun. And it was somehow funny? She sure seemed to think so - and so did Klef, by the look of it
"A Swan. Aswan." A chuckle: another one. Soon the brunette was nearly bent in half laughing. "A Swan! Ahahaha! A Swan!" It wasn't meant to be mocking at all - it was genuinely funny!
Finally, she sighed, recovering from her bout of laughter, and drew herself up to her full height again. "Ah. I apologize - let me introduce myself. Gomari. Aswan Gomari." Aswan extended a hand towards her, hopefully in a kind manner. "In other words, I'm your tutor. Not a swan. Although, I hope to be as graceful as one." Another chuckle escaped her. "By the way, your eyes are fascinating... And pretty."

"It's nice to meet you too, Klef." A first year. She did look a little on the young side, if Aswan was being honest - although she was practically the same age as her - well, as she was supposed to be. Still, Aswan gave a surprised glance at the mention of Klef's Auravision. "You have Aural Vision?" Outstanding - she was already quite curious. But - and she sighed internally at this - she could leave the questions for later. She was here to teach. And possibly make a friend. "As for my powers... I am someone who can turn invisible at will. I am also... Well, I am dead." A smirk.
