Private Dazed and Confused at the Wolfsbane

Kali looked at Rey's hand on her shoulder and went quiet as a thoughtful look crossed her features. He had brought up a few good points, primitive wasn't necessarily bad if one looked at it that way. And if she were completely honest with herself, she also had those exact primitive desires just not as intensely, perhaps.

"No, not really. I - I am fine. Just tired, I guess," Kali said, slowly shaking her blonde head at Rey's very perceptive question.

"It's also maybe possible that I am also feeling somewhat caged up, lately," she admitted with a sigh.

"Manta Carlos is ... well, it's not home. It's a nice place, don't get me wrong.... But I cannot run for miles unfettered in the snow, or hunt freely... The wolf in me feels restless sometimes, and while sex and being in control of others' pleasure often helps control that," she admitted unabashedly.

"Tonight I just feel ... I dunno, unsettled. Something is not right, and I don't know how to get rid of that feeling, I guess," she confessed with a tiny frown, not sure if any of her rambling made sense.

Kali couldn't help but let out a small, rather amused snort at Rey's quite obvious attempt to distract her from her momentary melancholy.

"So you suggest that I should curse and yell at the roguish rascal that created this sanctuary?" she stated with a smirk as she placed her hands on her hips and stared intently at Reytan, trying not to laugh.

"I can most certainly do that," Kali remarked, her ice-blue eyes reflecting her amusement. "Though I am not sure your refined and chivalrous nature won't be hurt by my extremely colorful expletives," she joked.

"Silver-tongued scamp," Kali remarked, a real and very honest smile forming on her lips, at Reytan's very astute and accurate observation.

"You could charm the Devil himself, I swear," she stated quite matter-of-factly as she stared at Rey fixedly and thoughtfully as she debated with herself for a few seconds whether to let loose or not.

"Fine," she finally declared, her tone firm and determined as she moved a few feet backward like a runner getting ready for a race. "You want me to let it all loose. Well, get ready, and never say I didn't warn you," Kali grinned.

The werewolf then let loose a very colorful tirade of expletives, her eyes flashing in anger at times while her cheeks flushed light pink as she let forth everything she had kept bottled up inside.

Kali switched between English, Russian, and the local Russian dialect she had grown up with. She cursed the evening and the circumstances surrounding it, her brother and the family and their stupid politics, and everything else in between. She even cursed Reytan, calling him a few choice words that were, in reality, just a half-hearted attempt at this point since her real anger and frustrations had fizzled and been almost spent by the time she got to her assistant.

Also, to be honest, she really hadn't too much to complain about regarding her assistant, she just figured he shouldn't get off scot-free.

When she was finished ranting, Kali just let out a huge sigh of relief, exhausted now as all the pent up tension in her body seemed to have disappeared magically. In its place, Kali noticed that she felt lighter than she had in weeks which probably showed not only in her face but in her body language too.

Kali chuckled and then let out a tired but happy sigh, letting her body float upwards until she was lying flat, like a body in an invisible pool of water.

"Send my brother the bill if you want," Kali laughed softly, pretty sure Malakias would not even blink an eye if it was endorsed by her. "I will just tell him it was for a very important but unexpected expense."

"Besides, he owes me, and big time. The Bordello brings in way more money than his little street dealings," she confessed as she stared up upwards at the "ceiling".

At Rey's gentle but firm reminder of no shop talk being allowed, Kali just shook her head.

"Fine. No more chit chatting about work," she conceded. "Although, if I am honest, I could do with a bite to eat." she admitted, realising that all the night's stress and other events had made her ravenous.

"Can we get something to eat here, or should we pop over to someplace other than the Wolfsbane," she added quickly, trying to keep her promise to Rey as best she could, "to grab a bite to eat?"
