Private Dazed and Confused at the Wolfsbane

Rey shook his head and covered his mouth with one hand in a mock expression of horror. "Who said at least one of us didn't have fun with the tying. Kidding of course, my dear. I do try to keep such excitement in my memory even if it isn't the fun sort." As people for whom embarrassment was difficult to achieve, this banter was of course only amusing for the both of them

"Such lovely parties. I would wager they would rather choose that than whatever this drug was again, given the choice. So the only answer must be it was an unexpected result. Something tainted or twisted. But there's little to be done on that front tonight. We can't be seen looking into it while the police are still meddling in the area. Unless you would like to personally question all the staff again."

Rey put on his best face of innocence and blinked a few times. "Why Kali, whatever do you mean? We simply provide the companionship and pleasure of a nice night out to our guests. We wouldn't dream of doing anything shady."

"But you should know by now that we needn't simply sit here lamenting about the meddling boys in blue. If you'd like to keep certain things inaccessible to their prying eyes I can see to that of course. Or I can simply keep distracting you from your frustrations. My talents are both varied and quite accomplished, as you are aware."

Rey considered the many options he had at his disposal. Some of which might be quite welcome for his boss, and others quickly rejected because he knew she would hate them. The same list he went through in his mind when entertaining clients, as it so happened, although there was a marked difference in the dynamic at play here of course.

"In that case," he paused to hum a little in thought. "Turn that way and slide back towards me," he directed softly, but making sure to tell her what to do rather than ask. "I could talk your ear off all night but I think you are far too tense for that to truly keep you distracted enough. A nice massage will take care of the tension, and I'll keep you entertained with my charming voice."

He chuckled softly and began to regale her with a story, in quite explicit detail, about how he found himself digging his former employer's sorry butt out of a situation with very irate but unexpectedly cuddly aliens.

Rey slowly worked his way through both his fantastical, though mostly true, story and the many tense muscles and knots that Kali had built up over the stressful day. Apparently his entire goal for the moment was to gently guide her back to a more relaxed state. Or at least a less stressed one.

"Oh them? My dear, i'm sure you've already guessed how things turned out," he gave her a wink as she glanced at him. "Like many before, and since, they came to me upset and thinking they knew just what would make them happy. And yet people so rarely do know what they actually want. Behind their expectations and posturing. It seemed that plenty of time and careful attentiveness from me was far more valuable, and personally rewarding, than it would have been attempting to extract vengeance or debts or whatever it was they had originally come for."

Rey smiled proudly and shrugged. "After all, who would want to ruin their chances of spending a little more time with me? Killing my boss would just mean all their assets are liquidated. And that could have meant I went to a less available debtor or collector. I may have exaggerated just a little bit how likely that was however."

"Well now. I know you aren't one to throw out compliments at a whim. I'm quite thankful that I found such an appreciative new boss."

He smiled sweetly and gave her a wink as he finished the massage and slid himself back onto the armrest beside her. The very picture of alluring calmness. "Enjoyable is what I do best. Fortunately. And right now, your enjoyment is my priority. And I have just the thing. Come with me," he offered with his words in concert with the outstretched hand in her direction. Teasing her slightly by not giving her all the details- she didn't want to be in charge at the moment after all
