Daydreamin

A nice warm spring day, nothing too hot or too cold but a nice breeze running lightly over the water's of the campus lake and across the beach where sat a young blonde on the grass. This particular young blonde was a student a new student to the school to be particular and after a long morning of moving in to the dorms she decided to make a nice relaxing afternoon outside in the fresh air. Quinn hadn't gotten into classes herself yet but at this time of day a lot of people were in class meaning the beach across the lake was rather quiet today, there were a few people here and there dotting the outside of the lake but not her much hated crowds. Still she wore her hood up over her bright blonde hair and fell back onto the soft grass looking up at the sea of blue overhead at the late spring sky watching the clouds slowly drift across her view.

No cases yet this town seems nice but...everywhere has that seedy underbelly I just gotta find it and maybe I can get some work catch my mind up on that. Or maybe you're just not the best at your job you're terrible with people and a little too young and y'know unlicensed to get cases on your own, what you need is a partner again...maybe yeah.

Cloud watching was always pretty relaxing something that took her back to a much easier time, although after a hard day and such a relaxed afternoon caught up in thought about what lead her to this moment the blonde's eyes began to flutter closed dozing off in her daydreams on the lawn of the school.

Quinn's eyes fluttered back open when someone approached and sat down nearby turning her head to look upward toward the other girl reading nearby scanning over her quickly and attempting to be discreetly with her big blue eyes.

Just as I reflect on all this in walks some girl just like in the movies, probably the damsel of the piece ? Nah probably just wishful thinking and you being a massive dork Quinn.

In her scanning over the girl Quinn noticed the book and rolled over onto her stomach before doing something she really didn't normally get up to.

"N-ninjas of love right ?"

The blonde squeaked out before her face turned rather pink, not exactly the kind of thing you pipe up about in public but hey not a whole lot of people knew that book anyway was neat seeing someone else read it.

"S-such filth !"

She squeaked then gave a little giggle.

"Excellent filth though...I uhh rather like it too

Here ya go Quinn excellent chance to work on your people skills and maybe finally make a friend pff I don't need friends to grow up I drink milk. Quinn looked down a bit from her new position sitting on the lawn facing the other girl and lightly brushed some hair out of her face.

"Uhh I'm Quinn, Quinn Kylrina I'm uhh kinda new here...m-maybe we can talk about books some time...I'm...a little bit of a reader myself."

She gave a weak smile, looked as if the blonde wasn't exactly good at talking to people but she was trying very hard to push herself.

Quinn took down her little hood revealing her long blonde hair and gave a weak little smile, okay she seems nice...b-but they all seem nice Quinn shook her head at that thought...m-maybe it'd be different it had been different before. W-wait what was that last part.

"Z-zombie K-kitty Extraordinaire ?"

What did that mean she very well could be undead anything was possible in this weird world but she certainly didn't look like a cat...well there was a certain catlike quality but...hmm Quinn chuckled nervously putting her hands in her hoodie pockets as she sat facing the brunette.

"It's nice to meet you too Mei either way...d-don't say that about many people so...that's good."
