Shirigana stepped towards the park, motioning for Fluffy to follow. "Alright! Let's enjoy a day at the park!" He said, grinning.

Fluffy followed. She looked around. "What first?" But instead of waiting for an answer she started toward the swings.

"Race ya!" Shirigana declared, sprinting towards the swings. He predicted that he would have a great time.

Fluffy's eyebrows rose and she ran after him. Since she was barefoot--as she was a lot of the time when in human form--when she stepped into a patch of stickers she let out a yelp as the tiny offender punctured her heal. To get the weight off of that foot she put down her other foot, only to step on another one.

Shirigana turned back. "Sorry. Didn't realise you were barefoot." He apoligized. "Let me carry you." He offered.

Though she didn't weigh much, Fluffy still changed back into a cat so it would be easier for him to carry her. Making sure she put no more pressure on her heals, she waited for him to pick her up.

Shirigana gently lifted Fluffy into his arms. He walked the remainder of the way to the swings and sat down to carefully pluck any remaining stickers out of Fluffy's paws.

The cat cleaned out her tiny wounds with her tongue and then hopped off his lap. She changed back into a human and sat down in the swing next to him. "Thank you," she said softly.

"My pleasure!" Shirigana responded, grinning. "It's my fault you hurt your feet in the first place; I wanted ta race." He slowly swung his legs back and forth, moving only slightly.

Fluffy smiled and shook her head. "No," she said, "Not at all. I would have eventually walked through it anyways." She got herself going at a steady pace on the swing.
