Her complexion is almost entirely flawless, thanks to her demonic heritage. She has a slightly curvy, thin athletic build thanks to the countless hours she has spent keeping her body in shape. Dawn has long straight pink hair, which as it turns out is entirely natural, though she won't admit to it. Her eyes are Cyan in color, and she often wears red eyeliner to further accent the color of her eyes for all to see.

There are two sides to Dawn. The first is the side that everyone sees. She is kind and friendly. A real social butterfly, she thrives when surrounded by her friends. She can be incredibly excitable and has been known to act a little childish from time to time. This side of her is known for actively participating in her community, and contributing positively to everything she can. She enjoys going to the beach with her friends, bonfires, parties, shopping and just about anything that a stereotypical California girl would enjoy.
The other side, the one that she keeps hidden is much worse. Despite never having been to hell, or been dedicated to anyone sin, Dawn is still a devil. She has sinful urges and desires and acts on them. Back home she would wear a hoodie and bandana to go out and cause mischief. She would pick up boys, get into fights, shoplift, among other things. TRhis side of her is manipulative and sinister, though she is careful not to show too much of it for fear of her parents finding out and being disappointed in her.
All in all, she is a good person deep down. She is insanely loyal to those who get close to. In some cases obsessively loyal. She also has few drives in life that compare to her desire to make her parents proud. Because of this, she will study hard and eventually become the best lawyer the Island has ever seen.

Dawn is tough, this goes without saying. However, she is a Devil, so her actual level of durability is greater than that of a human. She is not by any means bulletproof, but she is able to take a larger amount of blunt force trauma without suffering as much in the way of damage. Falls and impacts have a reduced effect on her. falling from a two or even three story building and landing on her back would wind her rather than wound her, and even getting hit by a moderately moving vehicle would be less likely to hurt her as a pose simply bouncing her out of the way. Getting run over, stabbed, or shot would still mean a trip to the ER, but in these cases, her chance of recovery is much greater. This durability extends to her immune system as well, leaving her tolerant (Not immune) to most toxins, poisons, and venoms. Additionally, she is considerably less likely to contract an illness or sickness.
Fireproof
One of Dawn's actual noticeable powers. She is absolutely 100% fireproof. Be it the fire itself or the heat caused by an active flame, the fire will have no effect on her. As an interesting side note, this does not mean she is excessively tolerant of high temperatures. She is just as uncomfortable on an incredibly hot day, as a normal person might be. She will even complain about things being too warm for her when they would be too warm for a normal human.
Demonic Physiology
Being a Devil has improved Dawn's natural strength and speed to superhuman levels. In physical strength, she is able to lift several hundred pounds with ease. The upper limit of this strength once involved her lifting the back end of her jeep while her friend changed the tire. In terms of speed, she is able to consistently run at 25 mph for about an hour before needing a break.
Ageless
Dawn is not a true immortal. She can be killed. In many cases, she can be killed just as easily as a normal human. However, if not stabbed, shot or cursed she could live indefinitely. She will not age physically past 2o years old.
Weaknesses:
Dawn has a rather severe allergy to blessed items. A normal cross has no effect on her what so ever, but one that has been blessed by a priest causes extreme pain and burns. Holy water can be fatal if ingested or inhaled. Being in the presence of an angel will make her uncomfortable, but with exposure therapy, she can learn to tolerate an individual angel. Naturally, more angels mean greater discomfort.

Finally, when all hope seemed lost, a young man turned up at their front door. He was a well dressed, well versed and brought with them an offer that they could not refuse. As it turned out, he was a demon and had taken an interest in the young couple. He had watched them try in vain to produce a child and even heard their prayers. He had found it humorous that God had not helped such a devoted couple.
"I can allow you to have a child. And as an added bonus, If you are not happy with it, I will take it off your hands no questions asked."
That was the deal, and it was too good to be true. Dawns parents accepted without question, and nine months later, Dawn was born. Her parents were surprised when they discovered that not only did they have a healthy baby girl, but that she was also a devil. The demon returned that night expecting Dawns parents to give her up to him but was shocked to discover that they were prepared to keep her no matter what.
The demon was known for creating new demons and devils by making deals with humans. He would scour the earth looking for people who wanted children but could not have them. Once a couple was found he would use his magic to create a child, and in most cases, the parents would end up wanting to give p the demonic child when they discover what it is. He then takes the freshly created child back to hell and is rewarded for each one. Needless to say, he was not impressed that he had lost this child to the human couple.
Dawn's upbringing was good. She was deeply loved by her parents despite her clashing with their religious beliefs. Her parents justified her existence as proof that everyone needed a loving home, and just because one was born of evil did not mean that they were in fact evil. They, like most people, had never heard of Manta Carlos, so as far as they had been concerned, devils and demons were evil creatures, as taught by their church.
In order to hide Dawn's identity, her father made her a headband. It had no powers or abilities but was made to fit around her horns, giving them the impression that they were part of the headband and not actually growing out of her head. Then as far as anyone else was concerned they were just a cute accessory. Surprisingly this worked very well for all of Dawn's life.
Their little secret in regards to Dawn's true identity would go unknown to the rest of the world right up until she was in college. An incident with her at the time boyfriend resulted in her being outed. In a single moment, years of hard work to keep her hidden had gone up in smoke. The entire family was afraid of what would happen, their community was heavily religious, and something like that was sure to bring the rage of the church down on them.
As luck would have it, They were contacted by Manta Carlos scouts before anything else could happen. They were told that Dawn could go by herself and be cared for on the island, or that they could all go, but they would have to give up their lives in the normal world.
It was an easy choice, they were a family, and that's how they would stay. As of this point, the entire family now resides on the island while Dawn continues her schooling, majoring in criminal law.

While not entirely wealthy, they don't live a life of wanting either.
