He'd never dated before, never been in a real relationship, such things were socially shunned and banned by his pack. Yet, here was waiting for his date, something truly unexpected, though he was now expecting that the best things are often unexpected.

So there he stood, nice but casual clothes on, his nose occasionally twitched as his sharp senses picked up on changes around him. He was in the park, a few people were still wandering about, going on with their own routines, every day things that were likely new for the werewolf. He'd occasionally glance at them out of curiosity, people's lives were so different here.

Nathan hard largely kept to himself since arriving, adjusting to his new home had been unusual. He had picked up a few friends of sorts, but he remained distant from most of the people. Then he met Tabby, small half-elf girl, blind date to a ball, that had gone well, one of the first things that are showing him that the unexpected can be good. @Foxy

Sometimes the unexpected was good, certainly. Whether that would be true of today was yet to be seen. While Tabitha would have always been fifteen minutes early to such an event, or at the least directly on time, Josie took her time getting ready.

By the time she was done, she'd have said she looked damn hot. The kind of clothing and face that made people stop and stare, for once not in horror but envy and amazement. She loved that feeling.

In this form, she opted to look different from her mother. Pink hair instead of blonde and pupiless eyes with heavy mascara and a body to die for with a pronounced hourglass figure and legs a mile long.

These were all things Tabitha didn't normally have and for awhile wearing this form like a costume had made her feel worse. Sometimes, it still did. But today she felt good. Great. She'd been on a low at the Pirate's Feast, but pure mental ecstasy replaced that.

She tried to sneak up on Natha, knowing his sense of smell would catch her before she could, especially considering she was wearing a light spritz of perfume that would make her more noticeable to him.

"Peek-a-boo!"

Nathan was a hunter and a fighter, he'd trained his senses all his life, trained then to where he could be aware of everything around him. So yes, he picked up her scent long before she approached him, heard her footsteps not long after, but he remained silent. He could tell she was trying to be sneaky, and he decided to play along a bit, let the girl have her fun.

She sprung her little attempted scare, he chuckled a bit and turned to face her, but the face he saw wasn't the one he expected. The girl did not look like Tabby, she had her scent and the voice sounded like her, but she did not look like her. "Good evening," he said with a calm smile, magic was common in his world, glamours and shape changing charms vso he quickly concluded what was going on.

He tilted his head, curious about why she'd be using appearance altering magic, he'd seen her true form, thought she was cute, so her altering her appearance seemed unnecessary. "It's good to see you," he decided to wait to ask about the glamour, for now he'd play along a bit. "Restaurants just a short walk from here," he offered her his arm, "thought we could maybe talk a bit."

Josie thought it was odd he didn't mention that she looked different. Cuter. It was enough to make Josie pout at him and cross her arms under her bust.

"Restaurants are so boring; I totally have a better idea!" She reached out to grab his hand, wicked grin in play. "Do you trust me?" She asked this with a troubling inflection in her voice as she tried to pull him along with her.

If Nathan was willing to be dragged away, Josie led him down side streets to a quiet neighborhood. Giggling, Josie traveled to nearby cars, pulling at the handles to each door until she found one that opened without resistance or an alarm.

She fell backward into the back seat and motioned Nathan to follow her.

Trust. Trust was something he didn't give easy, he'd been lied to and manipulated his entire life, and there was clearly something going on here. "Yes I do," they were friends, maybe they could be a little more one day, she was the first person he could say that about. "Dinner can wait, what'd you want to do?" his eyes were curious, curious about why she changed her appearance as well as what she had planned.

Then he was pulled along, his intelligent eyes never leaving her, his other senses keeping track of their surroundings. Then she started on the cars, now Nathan's morality was hardly black and white, but this did draw out a raised eyebrow, but he remained curious. "What are you up to?" he voice remained calm, but his curiosity was evident in his voice, he hoped she didn't intend for him to drive, his world didn't even have cars.

He wasn't stupid, when she fell backwards onto the seat he could tell what she planned ondoing. Nathan was no stranger to casual sex, it'd been an norm in his pack, now it seemed he'd be faced with the question of whether or not he even wanted that anymore. A part of him wanted what she was clearly offering, that natural urge any guy would feel, but if he ever did anything like that he wanted to do it with the real Tabby, not this illusion.

Crawling in, placing his hand on the headrest of the front seat, he leaned over and kissed her forehead before pulling back. "I like you, I really do and I don't think I'd mind doing those things, but I'd want to do it with Tabby, the girl I'm dating." Relationships weren't allowed in his pack, now that his pack were gone and he was free, he wanted a relationship, "I won't push you to explain the glamour, but I'd still like to take you on that date."

Josie gave Nathan a strange look when he said this. It felt odd on her tongue when she said, none too happily, "I am Tabby. I mean. Tabby is me. We're... It's not like I'm a different person. You're dating me too, aren't you? Otherwise, why are we even here?"

She crawled away awkwardly, so she was curled up on the opposite end of the car seat, glowering and unmistakably trying not to cry and mess up her mascara. Waterproof her fuckin' ass.

"I know what you're trying to do," she said, wiping gingerly at her eyes in a way to rid herself of tears while not smudging her cat-eye. "You wanna tell me I'm all special like I was and that you love that me more. Like this is a problem or I need to be fixed." She snorted, trying very hard not to look at him. She didn't want him to see the hurt. People didn't deserve to see when they'd hurt her.
