He tapped his chin thoughtfully at the question, he had a whole year to experiment with food and spices. "I love making home-made pizzas...just trying different ingredients and toppings." He smiled happily at her, he did love cooking, "I'll have to make you one for dinner one day."

He looked into her eyes, he loved just being around her, the outside world saw a monster, he saw a beautiful girl. He quickly darted in and quickly kissed her, he blushed a little at his own boldness, "sorry....your just really amazing."

It was like wearing a pretty, innocent looking mask your whole life, one that hid a face even more beautiful but infinitely more evil. The real face that had seen more death than most do in a hundred lifetimes, and had been the cause of most of it. Then having someone lift the mask, see the real face underneath, and smile kindly, with no fear or disgust. They take off the mask completely, set it aside, and ask you to follow them because they aren't afraid. The real Wendigo is revealed and instead of horror they react with compassion and care.

Dyani smiled and leaned across the small table to kiss him back, before sitting in her place and giving him a grin that was surprisingly playful on the face that had seen almost no real joy. "You won't see me complaining" she said, taking another bite of meat and veggies after.

He blushed a little at her playfulness, he was happy she was enjoying this as much as he was. He took another bite if his food, he was happy woth how it turned out, but the fact she liked it made it even better, "Thank you...for everything. I was in a slump when I got here...but being with you..has made me happy."

He continued his meal, his smile never fading, yea things weren't perfect, him and his mother hadn't fully patched things up, but right here, right now he was having dinner with his girlfriend and he couldn't be happier. He smiled miscellaneous and sprouted one of his wings, he stretched it over and tickled her in the side with it.

"Bringing you joy brings me joy of my own" she replied happily, enjoying just sitting there with Soren and not having to pretend. All the pretending she did was exhausting, and made her slowly forget who she really was. This was reminding her she was a person to, not just an actor who had no real personality of her own. Dyani Jones was a Wendigo and a female with emotions and wants and needs, not just a perfect little dolly of a human girl.

She raised her eyebrows at the wing, still getting used to the magnificence of their purity and sheer size. Dyani held her side and laughed. This was something else she had forgotten. Ticklishness, which she happened to have. After nearly falling out of her chair, she sat up eyes sparkling and leaned against the wing, enjoying the softness and the wall-like weight of it. Those wings were a physical representation of what Soren was, half a celestial being. Dyani's feature that betrayed her non-human features was hidden, but she was never very fond of her antlers. They used to make her feel joy because they reminded her of her name, but recently they only reminded her how different and inferior to Soren she was.

He smiled and chuckled, "you have a beautiful laugh." He moved to where he was sitting right next to her and wrapped his around her shoulders and kissed her cheak. He knew how much she liked his wings, he pulled a fresh feather and put it in her hair, "if you want to make something out of them I have plenty...and they grow back."

He looked from her to his wings and back angain, "Dyani remember what I said and no more hiding?" He laid his forehead on hers and looked in her eyes, "I saw your wendigo form....and it was beautiful....and this place is haven...no more hiding," amd he meant every word, all he saw was a beautiful girl, he wasn't going to judge her by the past, no, he was going to here to help her build a future. "The past is behind us....the future is ahead...I know it wont be easy letting those things go...but I'm here...and always will be..no judgment," he kissed her again, "because you are the greatest person I have ever met."

Dyani was always concerned that the violent action taking a pretty wing feather required, and always amazed and charmed by the resulting feather. "Are you really sure it doesn't hurt, Soren?" she asked, concern on her face mixed with the fondness and happiness that always existed there. His feathers absolutely enchanted her, they were soft and airy and light. Subconsciously she reached up and carefully tucked the feather more securely into her hair.

As he laid his forehead against hers, she closed her eyes and breathed in the pure and almost weightless feeling that she felt this close to Soren. He began to speak, so she opened her emerald eyes and listened as she stood still and close. Each word meant the world to her, the sentiment behind the words making her feel like she was a real living thing, not some fairy tale that went extinct hundreds of years ago. A shell of a creature in a fake doll body. "You really don't mind how I really look?" she asked after he kissed her, searching his eyes for a moment of doubt or fear or confusion. Something that would belie a fear of her true form.

His eyes showed no fear or doubt, only acceptance, "your beautiful...period." He smiled and kissed your forehead, "remember when we first met? You showed me then...and you looked amazing." He wrapped both her wings around her and hugged her, he just sat there a moment hold her close, to show her he wasnt going anywhere.

Then he looked at her and smiled, "you are Dyani the wendigo....and I accept you...and I love you for who you are, and you are is an amazing person." He leaned in and kissed her, a passionate kiss to show her how much he cared.

Dyani laid in Soren's wings and just enjoyed being safe there, protected from what she did not know. It wasn't like she couldn't defend herself, but for some reason she still felt like she needed to be treated like she was fragile sometimes. What a humiliating thought for such a powerful creature, but it was one she had thought before. And now that she had it, hiding in the wings of someone who knew and did not care, she could not have felt more safe or happy. She kissed him back with the same fervor, feeling secure and loved with Soren so close. "I have never felt more safe. I don't know how I was okay without you" she said almost inaudibly into the softness of his wings.

He smiled, her being happy meant a lot to him, "I feel the same....looking back...so many things would have been better if we knew each other earlier." He wrapped his wings around her a bit more snug. He couldnt think of life without her now, she made all the stuff of the past year seem so distant.

He chuckled, "I want to stay like this forever....me and you....the world not bothering us." He cuddled with her happily for a bit longer, letting the world fall back. He chuckled and grabbed her fork and got her a bite of her food and and offered a bite to her, "your foods getting cold."

Dyani laughed quietly when Soren reminded her of her food. It was very good, only he could have distracted her from it. She carefully bit the portion of food off of the fork and smiled more shyly. Once she had finished with it, she reached over to his plate to get his fork (making sure not to move too far from the comfort of his arms) and offer Soren a bite. "Thank you. So is yours". Although she wasn't thinking it at the time, Dyani was immensely grateful she didn't have a bothersome roommate to annoy her or get in her way. This way, it could just be her and Soren and no interruptions. After they had both eaten some more food, she looked at Soren. "Where is your favorite place to be in Manta Carlos, Soren?"
