Aluin had already prepared himself to dodge, he was fast, but before he could move a muscle he saw what the monster didn't. Dad as an Eldritch, colliding with the monster and sending it sprawling. And simultaneously he exclaimed with Anita
"Dad."
Though Aluin said it a lot more quietly, it probably got drowned out by Anita's yell.

It was weird and scary seeing Dad be in Eldritch form, but Aluin was still more scared of the monster. It seemed angry now. Aluin pulled Anita bit closer and backed away from the two few meters more.
"This is scary, the monster is scary, don't fight it..."
Aluin muttered quietly, getting a bit distracted and the tentacles he had around Anita loosened a bit.

The Devourer seemed at a lost for words in what they saw. There stood the worthless piece of them that they impaled yet the wound was regenerating rapidly. How could that be if they had their essence taken away? “I do not know how you got you powers back but it doesn’t matter. I’ll destroy you all the same!” The Devourer moved at a blinding speed towards Altizica but in less than a second was sliding across the ground once more. What? How the hell did he get hit? Altizica spoke, his voice distorted and obviously filled with rage. “You can beat me, stab me, even eat me. But when you try to hurt my children.........I WILL TEAR YOU INTO BLOODY PIECES! ” Altizica’s head split revealing his gaping maw of a mouth. He immitted a deep bellow and dashed at the Devourer with the same speed the Devourer used earlier, smashing the Devourer back into the ground before they could fully get back up. When Altizica slammed down cracks suddenly formed near the impact site. It was obvious Alt was back at full strength.

The moment Alt rushed the Big mess. Anita felt relief, even joy, that their father was attacking himself himself to protect them.

She felt Aluin let go, but instead of going to attack the Big mess again, she stood there, watching him. "You can beat him, Kay!" She called out.

Aluin didn't know which was more scary now, the monster or Altizica. But the fear he felt towards Alt was different, Aluin was scared for him, scared he would get hurt and die. He looked between them, still in his Eldritch form, and his tentacles let Anita go entirely and joined the mass surrounding his body. Aluin knelt to the ground and lifted his hands to his ears, it looked very strange in his current form to cover like that.

Aluin was looking strictly down, towards the ground, wanting to close out the sounds of the fight, hoping he had enough power and courage to stop the two. But he didn't, and all Aluin could do was mutter to himself and keep far away enough from Anita so his fear haze wouldn't touch her.

The devourer grasped at one of Alt’s arms in an attempt to counter attack him. Alt quickly responded by tearing off that arm with a heavy shriek from the devourer. With one hand still firm on the devourer’s body, Alt slid the being across the barren ground. The rocky surface cracked as the devourer forcefully paved a 20 foot trail across it. Finally Alt hoisted the devourer up and set them on their feet. “I pity you right now. Tell you what? I’ll give you a free shot on me. Go ahead!” Altizica stretched out his arms to show he was actually serious about it. The devourer screamed in anger “YOU PITY ME?! YOU FILTHY WORM! YOU WILL REGRET THIS!” The devourer reeled back another punch and hit Altizica straight his chest, making a basketball sized hole where it landed. Alt reeled back a few feet from the punch but he remained on his own two feet. The hole very quickly patched itself up, Alt’s laugh filling the air. “come on! That’s the complete strength the mighty devourer can muster? I overestimated your abilites then.”
