Darkness Falls

Aluin was almost mad with fear, and his breathing was barely breathing as he frantically drew air in and out. Alt's and Anita's voices were the only thing to pierce through the blue and black mist of fear that surrounded his mind, that mist wanted to leak out and spread terror and chaos. Aluin looked at Alt with eyes that looked too big on his face and Aluin was gripping the bracelet on his wrist tightly, not yet taking it off.
"It won't be okay, he is bad and scary and strong. You won't-"
Aluin's voice was fast and panicked and well above the whisper he usually spoke with. He was too scared to care how loudly he spoke. He choked from tears when still talking, he couldn't finish his sentence,

As Anita grabbed Aluin and attempted to drag him away Aluin broke free and grabbed Alt's leg, hugging it tight. But before he did that he had taken off his bracelet, and after 3 seconds he started taking away Alt's fear, as much of it as he could. Aluin could feel his own fear increasing as he took in Alt's fear, but he didn't care. Aluin didn't want nice, scary...he didn't want dad to be scared.
Aluin would continue taking away Alt's fear until he or Anita tore him off, and Aluin was using all of his willpower to keep himself from shifting into his eldritch form.

Aluin got dragged away by Anita, and though he tried to resist Aluin was weak and couldn't do much about it. He flinched violently when Alt got hit, and big tears fell down on his cheeks. Aluin wanted to yell again, but his voice wasn't working.

Suddenly Aluin felt Anita let go, and he watched in horror how she launched herself towards the monster. Aluin let out a yelp, and shifted into his eldritch form. Immediately black haze of fear started floating around him, but Aluin couldn't stop to think about that. In this form he was faster than Anita, and before she could get too close to the monster Aluin wrapped multiple of his tentacles around her and this time it was him who dragged her away. She should start feeling the effect of Aluin's haze, that evoked fear in anyone that came in contact with it.

Aluin, like dad had said, quickly moved away from the two fighting. He was fast, and near the edge of the pit Aluin stopped, still holding Anita. He felt so bad for making her feel afraid, but didn't shift back. She might try to attack the monster again. So Aluin kept his tentacles wrapped around Anita.
"That thing is dangerous. Please, don't fight it."
Aluin said, his voice back to quiet.

It was a first for Aluin to feel such immense anger desides fear, and he felt something else as well. Aluin didn't know what it was, but it felt similar to hunger.
It was bloodlust.
Aluin hoped he could've been bigger so he could've stood a chance to the monster. Bit even if Aluin was angry he was still scared, and as Alt fell to the ground Aluin let out an Eldritch screech but didn't engage. If he had had facial features, mouth or eyes in this form Aluin would've wept.

When the monster turned to them with high speed Aluin moved so he stood between Anita and the monster, still restricting Anita's movements because he knew she would try to attack the monster if he let go. And if the monster attacked Aluin he could fling Anita as far away as possible and give her a chance to escape.
"I will make it scary for you! Don't come close! Go away!"
Aluin yelled, his distorted Eldritch voice really not matching with his childish words.
