Jen ignored the girl, only saying a few words, "I... I don't want to... totalk. So.... So if you don't... don't leave, I will be forced to... to leave myself." she spoke the words without emotion, trying her hardest not to stutter. "I'm... I'm sorry if I seem... mean... to you but... butI have so many... many things on my mind right now... I would love to work them.... out... but I cannot... I can't do it when other... people... are around and chatting. No... No offense to you, anyway..."

Enelya sighed. Chattering? To her, she was only chattering. Some people here sure are complicated and difficult to befriend. But, she had an idea.

Enelya pointed her finger to the limb the girl was sitting on, and made a few deep blue flowers bloom. She smiled at this troubled girl, she couldn't understand.

"Whenever I have a problem, I like to talk to one of the trees about it, they are so old, and wise, they give good advice. If you want, you can ask them, and I would be more than happy to translate their responses to you. Or, if you want to be simple, I'd be more than happy to help you with anything you need." ^_^

Enelya was patient, and gentle. She calmed down, closed her eyes, and started breathing in, and out, ever so slowly. The trees whispered and stirred. A few birds quieted, and perched near Enelya. She listened for the girl's response, hoping, maybe she'd accept Enelya's help.

"No thanks." was Jen's only reply. She was going to turn into a puddle of water in afew seconds. She just wasn't in the mood to be all happy and light. She sighed. A few more minutes, then I'm leaving.

Raphael stopped playing the guitar and got up, seeing the woman in the tree. How did she get there?

The squishing of the sand against his shoes got louder as he looked at Enelya. "Umm...if she doesn't...want to talk, please don't." The sixteen-year-old's mind went blank. "talk to her." Raphael looked at her and then down to the ground. It is odd...why do people interact like this...to me? His hands were now in his pockets as the "guitarra" was on his back.

"You...should learn...when to not...help...good hopes...go away...that way."

Defeated, Enelya looked down towards the man who once played the guitar. She motioned her arm downwards, and the tall tree limb brought her to the ground, but still she sat.

"It's so different here," she said, "where I'm from, people needed someone to talk to all the time, and here, well, not very many people are all that friendly. I'm trying to help, but it just gets stuffed back in my face." Enelya looked at some rotten leaves, and waved her hands, making them turn a radiant green.

She looked around, and noticed the beautiful sunset over the horizon. The oranges, blues, and yellows, with a smash of purple was absolutely brilliant. Enelya looked back towards the young man.

"I'm Enelya, and was wondering if you'd like to enjoy this beautiful sunset with me in this tree here." Enelya tried to smile, but couldn't manage it, hopefully she would find friendship with someone.

He shrugged, not really perturbed by his advice towards her, he was kind of blind to many other people. "Sure. It would be...delightful." His thick spanish accent resonated throughout his words, though he never really saw it.

"I am...sorry that things...aren't the way...they should be." Raohael thought more on his own past, the past encounters. "No one...here feels...accepted or...or...loved." It was the only thing he could put in words.

He looked upon the horizon and then the world went into a blue and red surrounding. The bright sun melted the sky red while the rest of the world, except for things that had heat on them, were blue. "Adios mijos. Yo no se cuando lo..."

Raphael paused in mid-sentence. She didn't understand. He sighed.

"My mind paints pictures for me...the lights of the world...turn red...and...the silent warmers...turn...azul."

Enelya smiled, as he sat down next to her, she made the limb rise, giving them the perfect view over the lake, giving it a mystical glow.

Curious of what he meant by this, she replied, "I accept people. It's me they don't seem to accept... They see me talking to Archimedes, give me that 'why isn't she in the loony bin', look, and don't have anything to do with me. I get so lonely, I try and hide it by being optimistic and spirited. But here, it doesn't seem to work, I still feel alone, and the trees cradle me, but it still isn't the same." Enelya looked towards the beautiful sky, wishing she had wings.

She smiled at him, and studied his sad face. She could tell something troubled him, but couldn't quite put her finger on it.

"That was beautiful, but why does it come from such a sad face?"

Jen looked down at them. they were right below her. She sighed, How could she not be happy when this girl was so... so giddy? She hopped down from the tree (she landed on her feet) and stepped onto the water. Instead of falling through, her foot stayed on the top. This water-walking was a handy trick taught from her mother. She saddened at the memory but smiled, remembering how hard it was then and how easy it was now. All she did was have the water hold her up. Nothing hard at all.
She would get her things, come back across, and then talk.

"It does not come from a saddened heart...as you say...it comes from...an misunderstood corazon...heart." His eyes looked up at the now red sky and the people around him. All red, it seemed all difference was gone.

Everything around him was blended.

Misunderstood? Enelya wondered at what could have happened to such a person. She looked at him, and grew a yellow rose in her palm, and handed it to him.

"To an understanding friendship." she said. She looked into the sunset and smiled. Finally, she had made a friend, who took the time to listen to what she had to say. Things were looking up for Enelya, and she couldn't be more happy.

"I would be more than happy to take the time and try to understand, if you wanted." Enelya looked into his eyes, blushed, and looked back into the fading sun. The sunset was beautiful, if only she had her paints with her. It was so peaceful up here, she felt as if she could stay up here forever, looking at the sun, and sharing thoughts with someone else, who wasnt scaly or blue...not that it was bad, just that humans like to talk to other humans sometimes.
