Dancing together

'Hmm, I'm seeing a trend here. You seem to like the sky lot. The moon, the stars, the sunrise.' He smiled.

'I guess that would explain it,' he said. He took that moment to raise his arm and spin her in their dance. He chuckled and said, 'I've always wanted to do that.'

'Not really. I mean, it's usually the only thing around to eat but it doesn't excatly keep me in the best fighting shape.' He looked down, the steps to a technique he'd been learing flashing through his mind.
Still looking down he said, almost to himself, 'Fighting was pretty much all I thought about before I met you.' He looked up with a smile and added, 'Well, that and how everyone and everything seemed to hate me.'

He shook his head with a smile, 'It'll take me a little while to get used to this. I've ever really hung out with anyone like you.' He chuckled and added, 'Let alone dated.-Not that there's anything wrong with you' He stepped closer to her, smiling. 'It's just most of my past 'friends' weren't exactly optimists. And you...you're...' He took a breath and paused, then said, 'Different...-In a good way of course.'
He shook his head once again, but this time at himself, 'Watch it Jason, don't want to get her mad at you.'

He shook his head again, laughing this time, and hugging her tight. 'I probably shouldn't find this so amazing, but you're just so incredibly different then my old friends.' He kissed her gently and said, 'I think you'll be better for me too...Perhaps I'll be happier more often. At least I know I will when you're around me.'
