Sabrina suppressed the urge to hiss. This Ace was making what could have been a lovely interaction, quite difficult. Even though it as Tristan who had made the last comment, Sez knew it was because of remark she had made about Ace. Why was the rabbit so quick to defend the horrid little being she thought to herself. It didn't take long for to come to a conclusion. She had witnessed something like this before when the children at her school had attempted to put a teacher in her place. It was often futile due to the senselessness of the situation, but Sabrina had often sympathized with the teacher. It was her right to act above them. How else would the class function. So this is what it feels like to be looked down on for having a sense of class. Strange.

She ran her hair through her long white hair before continuing. The simple act was an easy way to calm herself. "Tristan,I agree that it is often best to enjoy the atmosphere. But, as you may remember, you greeted me as I grabbed a cupcake. It was then that Ace, introduced himself in such an abrupt manner. I had not intention of ruining your conversation, since I wasn't aware an interaction between the two of you existed. Had the introduction of Ace to myself been a little more civil, perhaps we would not be in the standoff that we are clearly in now. Manners cost nothing, and make the world a more understanding place." The last sentence was directed towards Ace who up until Tristan moved closer, was glaring in her direction.

She hesitated to move. Her words were true and she was sure Tristan would be able to recognize that much. If she were dismiss herself now, she would leave Tristan with Ace--alone. Without her presence, it would be more likely for Ace to sway Tristan and attempt to ruin her reputation. Seeing as this was her first interaction outside of meeting the secretary, Sabrina felt that this was an important meeting.

(OOC: my character has clearly not realized why you smell the way you do or the fact that you are male)

Why was it so damn hard just to enjoy a party? Why was he stuck between these two? He sketched his chin in thought where he was by Ace, glancing over distractedly at the confectioneries table.Still, he did not exactly agree with this girl's snarky demeanor; not right now anyways. He was stuck in a tug-of-war between these guys and he was very much determined not to let it ruin HIS fun night. That moment of realization was when his expression began to sharped like an adder getting ready to strike. He had no patience for this sort of tension.

He listened to Sabrina's tirade with half open ears, most of it just going in one and out of the other just before the 'manners cost nothing' part before he finally decided to tune back in. She spoke like a noble, but he was not sure if she actually was one or was just acting higher than she really was. And he did doubt that she was as high as he was, in terms of social status. This in turn caused him to internally reflect on how he spoke; he spoke much less formally than she did.

eventually, he departed from the two, standing facing the table instead " Okay; here's my input. I don't give a crap about what's going on here. So the useless anger should cease to be. Which in short means-" He pointed to Sabrina " You, stop being a stuck up snob" and then pointed at Ace " You, stop being snarky" He then grabbed a chocolate something from one of the plates and completed his speech with " Now, either enjoy the party or leave me alone. I don't want anything to do with this crap right now"

Parties were GRRRREAT! Oh yeah, she kept forgetting that she was dressed as the Cheshire Cat, not Tony the Tiger. Fukkit. She had stripes, close enough. Blue and grey stripes to be exact. Representin’ dat Tim Burton up in this B.

“Heeeeellz yeah!” she called out as she stumbled through the crowd, reeking of cigarettes and whiskey. She certainly was acting totally smashed, but was she really? Who cared, she was having a good time. Talking and dancing and romping then dancing some more, then stepping outside to smoke more, then dancing some more. This mask really was suffocating though since it completely covered the lower half of her face. The huge painted grin made it worth it, though. She popped the furry-eared hood up over her head and proceeded to zombie-walk toward the table full of delicious treats. Maybe they’d have frosted flakes.

And then, she started singing.

She had to. She was drinking after all.

“GATHER ROOOUND YE LADS AND LASSES, SAT YA FOR AWHILE!” She laughed, then quieted down. “And harken to me a mournful tale about the Emerald Isle!” Suddenly she began skipping, her hood flapping up and down on her head “Let’s all raise our glasses high to friends and family gone and lift our voices in another irish drunkin’ song!” Suddenly, she found herself listening to some sort of dick measuring competition, like she gave a fuck. **She shoved between a frilly scrawny chick with no tits and a chick with stripper shoes, quiet joyously. “Consumption” My, that was a big word Lilly, are you okay dear? “Took mah mother and my father got the pox” *She grabbed a cupcake, bumping into the uppity young lady to her right. Suddenly her song slowed. “my… brother… drank the whiskey…” she stopped.

It took her drunken brain a full minute to comprehend why she wasn’t eating. Her mask was covering her face. Oops. Luckily, she hadn’t smashed the cupcake into the mask and gotten frosting all over herself. Ah well! She wasn’t hungry anyway. Suddenly she got quite the twinkle in her temporarily bright blue cat eyes. She suddenly looked around, still not paying attention to either of the people next to her. She spotted Ace and her cheeks rose in a grin. *She looped surprisingly gracefully around the frilly one and threw an arm around the black cloaked gentleman. “Oh batman!” she cried, “This cupcake is antagonizing me with its unobtainable deliciousness” She swooned a little, then continued with a much more suggestive tone. “Wont you pretty please eat it for me?”

And oh man, she was all up ons. She hoped he was as cute as she thought cause ohhh man she had her whole front pushed up against his arm as she held the neon-green frosted cupcake up to his face.

A * means that Lilly has touched a character, that means that she gets either a MEMORY, CURRENT THOUGHT or CURRENT EMOTION. The more personal the contact and the more skin involved, the more potent the effect. This is how she eats, so she pretty much has to do this.

Characters potentially touched
Sabrina Twice
Tristan Once
Ace Extended Once

If you want to logic your way out of it, go for it or feel free to doge the touch. Ex: Ace is a demon so maybe she gets his host's instead of his or perhaps it doesn't work very well. So far the only time it hasn't worked is when she touches someone made out of something other than flesh (metal, dirt, wood).

If you would like me to stop touching your character, let me know.

Ace felt his smile fade into a smirk and he leaned into a relaxed pose as he crossed his arms over his chest and observed Sabrina over the tip of his pointed mask's nose. He was watching the way her movements seemed to stutter, almost as if she were contemplating an escape after she so pointedly challenged his way of behaving, but couldn't help but become distracted by the image of a figure off to the right of Sabrina's uncertain form. It seemed to sway with the music as it entered the room, causing those who came within its vicinity to part around it like whatever it was had some sort of disease. Shaking his head, he focused back on the situation at hand and was amused to see that Tristin had stepped away from him and was confronting the problem in their own way. Hearing the lop eared individual call Sabrina a stuck up snob made him chuckle into his hand, finding it fitting that she'd be called out for what she obviously was, but stopped when the rabbit turned to him and accused him of being "snarky".

"I'll take that as a compliment aaand graciously refuse," his mouth formed a tight line as he glanced away from the two of them and attempted to mimic Sabrina's diction and way of being stand-offish, "Being snarky is just another service I offer to the world. I thank you for noticing."

He became distracted again by the figure from before as he gazed off blankly into the crowds of the great hall. They were closer now, much closer, and he could faintly hear ,whoever they were, singing over the low thrum of the music. Watching them with a keen eye, he ignored whatever it was that Tristin had continued to say and focused on this now approaching form. When they began to skip towards the table, he felt his lips curve into another smile.

"I sense a delightful storm approaching," he mumbled this to himself, his arms still crossed over his chest as he stepped to the side and allowed the individual to move past him and towards the table that they were aiming for. Their hood had fallen off during their skipping approach, revealing to Ace a dark haired girl with a rather large painted grin on her half masked face. Amused once more by the antics of this stranger, he observed the way she eyed the cupcake she had grabbed and wondered whether or not she was going to dive headlong into it and put an end to her drunken singing.

"Oh, Batman!"

The sudden jerk of her head as she whipped her head around and caught sight of him only to dodge rather gracefully around Tristin despite her obviously drunken actions made Ace take a step back, not wanting to touch her in case she actually had some sort of disease and the other dance guests were right to avoid her. He failed in this regard when he felt her arm tug him closer to her and she began to swoon against him. Leaning a little closer to her as she hung off of his shoulders, he could smell the whisky on her breath and smiled slightly.

"Well, aren't you just precious," he chuckled and eyed the cupcake that she held up to him, leaning away from it in fear that she'd smash it into his face instead, "Yeaaah- I'm not really a cupcake guy. Thanks...I'm sure Sabrina would love a bite though. I don't think she had a chance to enjoy her's from before."

He grinned in Sabrina's direction and shrugged innocently, enjoying the way she seemed to tighten her shoulders whenever he attempted to throw her off. He couldn't wait until she finally snapped.

<div align=left>"My friend? You want to be my friend?"

"Yeah, sure...whatever, just- don't tell anyone. I'm not big on announcing these sort of things to the world."

"Oh..."

"What?"

"Nothing. I'm just happy."

"That's weird...keep that to yourself too. I'm not interested in your people feelings."

The obnoxious singing of a drunk stranger seemed to break her thought and pushed her emotions to a peak as the source pushed it's way between Tristan and herself. She felt a slight rush through her, but chalked it up to the rage flashing across her face momentarily. As a being which frequently controlled other's mind she often can sense the presence of those who are attempting to use similar magic. Had this occurred at another time, perhaps she would have noticed the true source.Thank God this mask s here. That would have been rather improper.

Emotional Trigger Reading:
"First this ass Ace, and now this drunkard! Wait, calm yourself. Thank God this mask..."
———————————————————————————————-

She steadied herself before narrowing her gaze on the interloper. She wasn't particularly worth fawning over. Her features were plain and undefined, unlike her choice in fashion. Sabrina kept her cold eyes on her, but was not longer narrowing them in disgust. The masquerade was beginning to get on her nerves. She glanced at the clock on a far wall. It was getting late which meant the stranger would likely have new friends that would join in the festivities.

As she attempted to dismiss herself, the dark haired gal bumped her again. It almost seemed to be deliberate. As quick as it happened Sabrina felt the same rush through her body. It was the same as before, but she had already calmed herself. Someone had managed to pass her passive barriers, not once but twice. As the rush hit, a sense of fear also took root in her mind.

———————————————————————————————-
Memory Fragment:
Blurred image of a school yard with many trees and three figures. Two are slightly larger and masculine.
"Stop that, just leave me be"
"Oh come now, we just want to play... Here kitty kitty."
"Just stop!"
"What are you going to do? Call your brother?"
The largest figure shakes for a moment before repeatedly pounding his head into the nearest tree. It suddenly slumps.
the next image reveals the face of horror on the other figure as he stares at the pool of blood...
———————————————————————————————

As the sensation ended, she realized that the culprit was no longer near her but wrapped around ace. Her flirtation seemed to be slightly lost on him, although he was kind enough not to dismiss her entirely.

Sabrina shook her head and turned away to recompose herself. Although she would like to simply leave, this was a face worth recognizing. Although she would have normally dismissed her quickly, she had shown that her magic could be quiet powerful under the right circumstances.
