Mimosa ran up the stairs, to the empty classes. She knew this was one of the few places where she could really be alone.

She found an empty one, the same one she and Judas had been alone together in. There, she managed to lcok the door behind her.

She walked over to an empty desk, and sat down. Burrying her hands in her folded arms, she let loose all of the tears that had welded up inside of her.

Mimosa cried for a long while. She might never get to see Judas again...he might already be dead...

More tears insued, and she stayed, forgetting the classes that she had to take.

Kelly had been wandering aimlessly around the school when she found the old empty rooms. Um, boring. Ew, ew, ew, dust was gross. Really gross. Can't they take out this crap? she thought.

Then she heard someone crying, and her heart dropped. Oh no, oh no, oh no. Was the person okay? Was she hurt? Kelly dashed towards the place she heard the sound. It was a door. It was locked.

Kelly sucked in her cheeks, trying to think of what to do... she was probably hurt, and stuck in there, ah! How do I get in?

Duh, your powers! She paused, suddenly uncertain. But I hate my powers! one part of her mind told her. But the other part didn't care. So? Someone could be hurt! Kelly finally stared at the lock, and shot a small thin beam of light through the hole. She heard a click, and burst through the now unlocked door.

A girl was sitting on the floor, crying. Nothing was wrong with her. Kelly sighed. "I'm sorry..." she said walking over to the girl and sitting down next to her. "I didn't mean to barge in on you. I thought you were hurt... and I panicked."

She sat silently with her hands in her lap. Should I ask her if she'd okay? It doubt she wants me too... I can sense she doesn't want me to. But I really want to know! Kelly bit her tounge to keep herself from talking.

Mimosa heard the door open, and she looked up to see a girl standing there. She quickly wiped her tears, but it helped very little, as more came.

"Oh, um, okay...I'm not hurt, not physically, at least...but thanks for your concern," Mimosa blurted out, barely able to keep what composure she had as she said it. She kept her hand on the back of a desk to keep herself steady.

Why do you need to keep yourself composed? You're boyfriend is dying, and you can't see him!!

She turned away slightly, and sobbed. Why couldn't I go with him?

Kelly suddenly felt as sad as this girl. She obviously was really upset, and that made Kelly upset. Carefully, she put her arm around the girl's shoulders.

She really couldn't help herself. "What's wrong?" Kelly asked softly.

Mimosa usually would have given the girl a shove and asked what her problem was. But instead she just sobbed more.

She sniffed though. This girl deserves some anser, she decided. It took a couple shaky breaths, but she finally managed to speak. "He...he got in a fight...my boyfriend...he's really hurt....they don't know if he'll make it-" she burst into sobs agains before she could finish the story.

Kelly's heart melted for this girl... she felt so bad! "I'm really sorry," she said lamely, knowing it was the dumbest thing possible to say. She hated it when people said that to her, but what were you supposed to say?

"Look, I really don't know what to say without making you feel worse. But I'll be there for you... even though I really don't know you." She grimaced. Kelly hoped the girl wouldn't kill her before she said anything dumb.

Mimosa grinned, but still sobbed. "Thanks...I guess." She wiped tears on her sleave, and smiled at the girl. "I appreciate it, really....I could honestly use a friend right now. I'm Mimosa, by the way."
