It was late. Past midnight, but before dawn. Serenity was sitting by a sand dune, among the tall grass. Tears were streaming in rivulets down her face, but they were covered by her hands. She had landed here when her wings could take no more. The docks were not even in view by human eye, or in Serenity's case, fairy eyes. She knew that everything she loved was gone, and she had no friends. Hunters were after her and she had no true home. Her friend, James / Danger, tried to kill her when they were young, and she sorta kinda accidentally blew up his ship.
Serenity tried to stop the tears from falling, but she couldn't. Finally, when she had fallen into a nightmare-filled sleep, the tears continued to fall down her face. Her dreams, nightmares, were filled with the visions of a young Danger actually killing her. It was like a rewind. It kept happening over and over.
