Elisa Pelham
Elisa was walking the hall with Annie Oakley, the newest member of her group. The older woman looking around with a bored expression. It seemed nothing interested her, and was merely going with the flow.
"Hey, Annie, What do you think of this?" Elisa called out, directing her attention to a display. it was a painting by one of the seniors this year and was actually pretty good. But as Annie stared, all she said was "S'alright."

Jude had very much thrown himself into the whole Regalia thing. It helped that his powers were... uniquely suited for the contest. Everyone else relied on physical signs or being approached by a regalia seeking a pact. Jude? Jude could tell the moment someone stepped within 30 feet of him that they were a regalia, and just what they did. It didn't mean he automatically knew--it wasn't like radar or anything--but as long as he was paying attention, it was a sure thing.
There were a lot of people at school with them. It wasn't like partner Regalia's could sit in on classes, but a few were actually attending as normal students.
Walking through the hallways was an exercise in distraction. One after another, Regalia entered his range, and Jude mentally sorted through them, wishing he had some kind of a personality sense.
Because personality was kind of the issue, wasn't it? His first regalia had been a poor fit as far as personality went, but Summer had been a much better fit after he'd swapped. His second regalia? Again, an awful fit. Jude could have managed how unhappy he was if only the man hadn't been so focused on faith. Jude didn't do that. Not right now. His only real mercy was that his partner's blessing was the sort of thing a lot of people would want, meaning he had better odds to find someone who might swap pacts.
Which he did. Without even registering who they were attached to, Jude suddenly knew.
Gun creation? Good god, gun creation? He'd wanted something like accuracy or something else he could use as a pretense to get a gun, but if he could just generate his own...
Jude did a 360 on the spot, trying to figure out where they were. His powers told him what powers people had, but they weren't going to flash an arrow over someone to let him pick them out. Instead he had to mentally sort through the people in the hallway, filtering them out based on having seen them before, until...
Elisa. And an adult woman he'd never seen before.
Bingo.
Jude immediately headed over, giving Elisa a wave as he did.

"Oh hi, Jude. What brings you here?" It was someone from her year, though meeting him like this was unusual. She usually ever talked to him in the Community Centre, and even then it was strained.
"Oh, by the way. This is Annie Oakley. She's uh, kinda nice." She said, motioning to the older woman, who barely made the effort to wave.

Annie Oakley? Alright, he'd definitely been dead on with that one, and he raked an eye up and down the woman, searching for a resemblance. Maybe? But probably not. Seemed more like the name was an homage than a famous sharpshooter accidentally becoming a regalia.
Or maybe not so accidentally.
"I was actually just heading down to the administration office to throw my hat in for elections next week," Jude said. "But I spotted Annie and figured I'd, uh, come say hi."
He made a pointed look at the Regalia before turning their attention back to Elisa.
"They're a Regalia, right? Which means you're doing the whole Game of Divine Right thing?"

"Yeah, I've actually signed up for the elections earlier, Guessed we're Campaign Rivals, eh?" Elisa laughed and winked. She was definitely not going to be elected with this guy running.
She nodded. "Yeah. She's a regalia. Not the one I started with though. He's still at home sleeping." Elisa kept it to herself she had more than just the two. Might change the conversation. Before she said anything else. she made a realisation. "Oh, I guess you are part as well?"
Was this the time to initiate a challenge?

Seems like they would be rivals. He knew of at least three people other than him running, and that meant there was going to be some pretty crazy competition. Because knew how many people there were he didn't know competing?
"You've got two then?" Jude asked with a small nod. "The one I started with was... a bad fit. But I rescued this really awkward girl from Malara Tor, so that was nice, and we get along. I've had bad luck with ones approaching me, honestly."
But great luck with finding others.
"I don't suppose you're not getting long with Annie?"

"Malara?" She was glad that Jude rescued the regalia from her. Who knows what spartan treatment she got? "I'm kinda thankful for that."
"I'm not sure if mine is a good fit. Nigel is cool, but Annie..." The women didn't even flinch at the mention of her name. "She doesn't seem to care much."
She looked up at Jude. "Are you suggesting a trade?" Elisa said playfully.

Jude nodded. "Malara Tor," he confirmed. "She's participating as well. They tweeted about it, so I thought I'd challenge her, and then her Regalia was so... unhappy."
To say the least.
"Summer works for me, but, uhm, Mist isn't a huge fan of me," he said. "I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but Mist's an adult, very faithful, but also... a bit unhappy."
He grimaced.
A lot unhappy.
"His boon is the ability to create illusions, which would be pretty good for me if we got along."

"If you don't mind, can you tell me her Tag later?" Elisa was behind on the social scene. If she wanted to have a chance, she would have to become more popular. "Anyway, So how is she now? The Regalia, I mean?"
Misty sounded alright, but Jude appeared to be almost disappointed in them. "I guess we both have Regalia we have problems with."
He could cast illusions? That sounded so cool. "Well, are you willing to trade Annie For Misty?"

"It's just InannaRu," Jude said, pulling out his phone to show Elisa the spelling. He hated spelling out foreign words to people, mostly because it always took way longer than just showing it on a screen. He was the same way, and only his perfect memory changed things.
Most people weren't blessed with that.
"Summer's good. She's... relaxing. A bit. Like, she's still pretty nervous and kind of timid but she's coming out of her shell a bit over time. Still sad, I guess? But I think she was kind of always like that to an extent."
Okay, so maybe 'good' was not the best descriptor.
"If he's up for it. We haven't talked all that much and I don't think he's happy with me though, so I figure he'd be interested in the swap."
Jude's phone was already out, and he went right ahead and texted Mist. "He says he'll be here in a few minutes."
