Luna was sitting in the lobby, waiting for her sparring partner. Someone had suggested once that she get some practice in because it's been so long since she even touched her sword, so here she was. A good idea. Fortunately, this gym allowed sharp swords for practice, as they had the appropriate gear to protect each person as they sparred. Luna didn't have any dull or wooden swords in her Pocket anyway.

Although she was kind of debating on whether she should've accepted their offer of temporarily providing a training sword. Most people that came in, she noticed, did accept however. That decides it. Luna would just ask her partner whether they wanted to use them.

Speaking of which, there he was now. Short black hair, blue eyes, exactly like his profile information showed.

Luna stood up and walked over to him, keeping a respectful distance and introduced herself, "Hey, you're my sparring partner right? My name is Luna."

Hopefully, she didn't come off as too shy that time. Luna had to get used to talking to people holy hell.

Aedan Drago

Aedan would tilt his head, "Luna right?" he'd move off of the wall he was leaning on, "that's me, Aedan Drago," he'd offer her his hand to shake. He didn't sparr that often but he wanted to change that, especially now that he was working for a security firm.

"Sorry if I'm a little late, I had to check on a few things," his nose would twitch slightly, it'd been a while since he'd used the school's training rooms. "You got your sword?" he didn't see it on her, but it could be a summon weapon.

Luna shook his hand firmly. Aedan was obviously bigger than her, and much stronger from what she could tell. She kind of wondered if she'd even be able to put a scratch on him if she was being honest.

"Nah, you're alright. I was preoccupied on my phone for a while anyway," which, speaking of, Luna took it out of her pants pocket and let it go into her...Pocket space with a silent flash. Don't want it to fall out during her session now would we?

"Mhm! It's in my Pocket right now. I don't want to bring it out in the lobby though, as it's against policy since it has a sharp edge. Should we head to the room then? I think we have uh..." Luna took out the slip of paper from her other pants pocket,"...Room Seven. With the armor."

"I have to say, thanks for coming by and being my sparring partner. Can't wait to get started if I'm being honest."

Aedan Drago

"A pocket dimension? Handy," he'd lead her to room to seven, entering a looking around, it'd been a while since he'd sparred with anyone, he was looking forward to it. "Ok, so, my abilities allow me to form weapons from my ionic energy, he'd form a basic sword to show her, "so I'll just match yours with one of form."

Dismissing the blade he'd stretch a bit, "how long has it been since you've sparred or fought," he was taking up more dangerous jobs lately so he'd face potential combat situations during his security work.

"It has been a while, as I haven't exactly...needed to use my sword if you get me. No enemies of mine exist here apparently, which I'm eternally grateful for. But that also can get dangerous if I ever meet them again...Which of course is why I'm here."

Luna looks down and lifts a hand off to the side and with some light emanating from it, a sword starts to form. It's standard sword size, the width of the blade was somewhat small, and the end of it cut off at an angle. In some ways, it kind of resembled a katana. The handle certainly wasn't standard though with its simplistic silver carvings rather than the diamonds of the katana.

"I...might be a bit weird in this sense but here's my sword, whom I've affectionately named Breicher. Forged it myself." (brae-kir)

She looked back up towards Aedan with a nervous and proud smile on her face. Hopefully she didn't and won't embarrass herself here.

Aedan Drago

He'd watch curiously as she summoned the sword, "it's a good looking blade," he'd say, giving her a friendly smile. Magic wasn't his thing but he could always admire a well made weapon, especially swords which be had a general fondness for.

Focusing he'd form an ionic katana, the energy construct looked almost like light blue glass but with a minor blue glow about it. He'd twirl the bode a bit, quickly adjusting to its balance and such, he hoped to enjoy this sparring match.

"Ready when you are," he'd say, taking a simple relaxed stance, holding his sword in two hands.

Luna lifted an eyebrow. It seems Aedan preferred to start with being on the defense. She nodded.

"Alright."

She jumped ahead, swinging right with her sword. It glanced off of Aedan's, so Luna jumped back and swung left, causing the sword to extend some. It was quickly blocked once more.

"I already noticed I'm a tad slow. Unfortunate."

Stepping back, Luna held the sword in front of her in a prepared stance, wondering what Aedan's next move was. Her attacks used to be fast and relentless, but she didn't want to harm him badly. At the same time, Luna was slow for a sparring partner...Maybe she should let go a little bit. She shall see, as this progressed.
