Caitlin had to hide a smile at Rayana's mean look. It wasn't near as scary when directed at someone else. But yeah. It scared the living daylights outta her. Like during that eavesdropping lesson...The smile fell from her face.

"Thanks for the offer. I've been looking into some options. I might stay in the dorms. But I'd much rather stay in the manor. But there is the safety issue. One human in a house of vampires..."

"Well, the problem with the other vampires can be easily overcome. They try anything, I gut them." She told as if it was the most simple thing in the world was gutting a vampire like a fish.

Of course, to her it was easy to do so if she was so inclined, which she wasn't for now. A vampire would eventually recover from being gutted, but it would be a long, tenous and very painful process. After all, one would need time to get his insides back to their right places wouldn't it?

"I can easily get creative in my punishments." She told with a feral smile.

Caitlin shrugged, then nodded. "Okay then. I'll come. When's a good time for me to bring my things?"

I can easily get creative in my punishments...

Just the thought made Caitlin feel both relieved and nervous. Relieved that the other vampires wouldn't be allowed to hurt her... But nervous, because the same comment probably went for her too. She didn't like to think of Rayana getting creative with her own punishments, should she ever feel the need.

Rayana hadn't really meant for her sentences to be met with such fear. She would not hurt her like that; after all, she had 'adopted' Caitlin a while back. And there was the fact that Caitlin was human and would probably not survive getting gutted.

"Anytime Caitlin, there isn't much going on at the moment." She replied.

Indeed, not every vampires counted in her coven lived with her at the manor, most were students after all. Except the odd vampire or two… Like Wrath or Sarah… well sort of. Taking a pen and a paper from her desk, she started making notes to herself. Notes about how and what she would teach.

"That’s why I am going to teach this class, I'm bored." She told absentmindly.

Well, she was, to a certain extend. Vampires her age tended to be patient time wise and sometimes time had no meaning to them. In her case, Rayana kept track of the time mostly, though when she was doing something she liked to do, she did forget the time.

"Okay Rayana, I will, thank you. Could I maybe meet you later tonight? You could help me find it..." Caitlin asked, getting excited. She definitely preferred a manor to the small dorms here. Who knows, she might even get her own room at the manor.

"Yeah, I'd be bored too. You're like what, in your third millinium?" It was kind of a funny thought. She had known friends years ago at an orphanage by here home, and they had considered it strange when anyone over 50 adopted them. But Ray was waaaay older than that.

Kalix walked down the hall, glancing into the windows of closed doors, eyeing the teacher, then the students, then the number above the next door in line. His hands were pocketed, and his stride was slow, but long; a saunter that he often had when he was trying to get somewhere.

Noticing an open door a little ways down, he confirmed the room number and poked his head in before he actually stepped in, looked at the black board, and saw the spot to sign his name.

After signing a quick, but artistic, "Kalix," he turned around with his head down, catching only a glimpse of the teacher out of the corner of his eye. She didn't look much like a "willing" teacher, but he wasn't about to comment. He strode over to an open desk on the side of the room and sat down.

((i could have SWORN i had posted on this...))

"Okay! Would you mind meeting me somewhere later, and showing me where it is?" Caitlin asked Rayana. Without waiting for an answer, she turned and walked to Rayana's desk, sitting down on top.

"Yeah, you're like in your third millenium, aren't you? I'd be bored too. Though I don't think I'd spend my time teaching snobby teenagers." Caitlin said, just as another student walked in. "Speaking of which, I should probably go meet my new classmates..."

She got up and walked over to Kalix and sat in the desk nearest him. "Hi. I'm Caitlin."

Kalix shook his head slightly in mild disbelief, thinking to himself, Third millenium? I doubt I'm going to be able to stand a single century.... What is she? Some kind of vampire? Hah. Then again, I shouldn't be suprised with the school's reputation in mind.

He eyed the young woman who came over to him, finding the yellow hair and green eyes and oddly attractive combanation. He waved slightly, only lifting his forarm while letting his elbow rest on the desk. "Hey." He tilted his head slightly, giving off the impression he wasn't studying her earlier, but was now. "I like your eyes." He held out a hand, "Kalix."

Caitlin smiled delightedly. She didn't think anyone had ever said that to her before. "Thank you, Kalix. It's nice to meet you!" She looked at him, taking in the short hair and grey/blue eyes. He truly had amazing eyes, not her. "You're eyes are really cool too. I've never seen eyes that color."
