Danica raised her eyebrows. "Um... right. Next time I try 'replicating wit and intelligence,' I'll remember that." She snorted and rolled her eyes. She tipped her chair backwards slightly and rested her feet on the empty chair in front of her.

Sometimes it amazed Danica how serious and boring people were at this school. How could a person stand it? Danica barely ever got bored, but this place was really pushing it. They either used ridiculously humongous words that Danica didn't understand, or talked in monotones. But she wasn't telling anyone that. She had an image, an image she wanted to keep.

Judas smiled, nodding his thanks and saying one last thing to her before turning back around.
"It is wise for you to study how to act like a human past the threshold of mental retardation."
He suddenly broke his stiff monotone, chuckling, his voice smooth and charismatic.
"Because it's really hurting my ears, girl."
Judas turned, smirking, but suddenly horrendously bored again.
Oh well...that was fun though. It is truly too easy to overwhelm the students here...I doubt any of them draw near to my sin, or my power. What a splendid place.

Mimosa watched the girl, leaning back in her chair.

Don't do it! her inner concience told her, DOn't do it!

Mimosa twitched. She thought the girl was obnoxious - she'd totally deserve it.

DON'T do it!!

She turned away, but couldn't help her eyes from turning back.

DON'T DO IT!!!!!

Too late.

Mimosa concentrated, watching as the seat fell back, and the girl went down to the ground with it.

Judas seemed not to even notice the girl toppling over, only turning slightly in her direction at the sound and then arching his eyebrows.
People these days...so very clumsy and stupid...

Danica felt herself falling backwards, and turned slightly, as fast as she could, so she woudn't hit her head. Instead, she landed on her side on top of the chair. She cursed silently, her side burning with pain. She untangled herself from the chair and stood up, eyes blazing. She turned around and gave Mimosa the most withering look she could, and it worked. "Hmm," Danica said loudly. The whole class turned to stare. "I know! There's someone doing absolutely nothing to me. Let me tip over her chair! Sounds like a blast!”

"Is their a problem, girls?" The teacher asked from the front of the room. Danica ignored him and continued.

"I think I've changed my opinion." She turned toward Judas. "Judas, please accept my apologies. This girl, right here, is the one with anger management issues. I don't think you should even go to the dance with her! She might kill you!" Now she addressed Mimosa. "You really need a better solution to your problems. Violence is not the answer, honey."

With that being said, Danica turned around, picked up her chair, and sat down in it. "No problem at all!" she said sweetly to the teacher.

((OoC: Hope I didn't sound too mean!!!! Danica is like the exact opposite of me!))

Judas gave Danica a dazzling grin.
"A dance is a dance. Such things are meaningless gatherings. Besides, I like a fiery girl, confounds my apathy...Yet, violence isn't ever the answer...unless it solves the problem, which it often does. Trust me, I know this from experience."
His general tone was cheery and friendly, odd for his subject matter, and then he turned back, scrawling on a piece of paper.

(Occ: It's okay. It's just RP, not real life. ;) )

Mimosa turned to Danica. "I'm sorry - It's just, when you're rude to my friends, I take it as a personal insult. And I don't like to just sit around and do nothing. But, sorry anyway."

With that, she turned back to her work.

Danica rolled her eyes. Mimosa took rudeness to her friends as a personal insult? It made Danica want to laugh out loud. As she was about to say something else rude back, she realized, well, that Mimosa had apologized. And even though Danica wasn't going to admit it, she kind of did understand that you did sometimes have to stand up for you friends.

"Um, right." It wasn't exactly forgiving Mimosa, but it wasn't being rude back. Danica turned around and glared at all the people staring at her. "Got a problem?" she hissed, smacking hard on her gum. She folded her arms, and resumed her 'I'm-soooo-bored' look.

She raised her hand. "So, um, when do we learn how to control our powers? Because if you need help, I can control my powers perfectly."

The teacher gave her a look. "If you think that, let's see your example, Miss..."

"Martinez," Danica finished. "Fine. It's going to get dark, so don't start screaming," she said, with a snort.

Danica stood up. She took a deep breath, and summoned her inner energy. The power bubbled inside her all at once, and she let it out. Now, in the darkness, she summoned a light that only she could see. Tipping it into the air, she walked up to the front of the class room with the light bobbing slowly behind her. She could see the scared faces of the other kids in the room, in the bright light next to her. They couldn't see anything. Danica picked up a piece of chalk and wrote her name very neatly on the chalkboard. With a wave of her hand, she made it light again.

"Ta da!" She took a mock bow. Now that it was light, everyone could see the perfect handwriting on the board.

"Wonderful! You did that with a light only you could see, correct?" The teacher asked her. When Danica nodded, he continued. "Anyone else want to show us their powers? We're going to go around the room, and everyone has to try. If you need help, ask Miss Martinez, since she's such a good example." Danica waved, signaling where she was. The teacher picked the first person who raised their hand.

Judas raised his hand.
"I hardly need help. I was of a true power at the age of six when my parents died. It is a curse, these kinesises, they take my soul from within me, drain me, but to have them is to be near a god! Behold, flame and the power of the mind!"
Not moving at all, he blinked and a piece of paper on his desk burst into flame and then began floating about the room, showering people with sparks.
"Hahah."

Danica snorted and rolled her eyes as she watched the paper burn and the ashes float to the ground. She winced, though, as a spark burned her finger. "A curse? How... dramatic. But seriously, can you do anything else besides burn paper? As useful as burning paper is," she said sarcasticly, "anyone can do that with a match." She was getting quite annoyed at all of Judas's showing off. 'Behold, flame, and the power of the mind?' That was just weird. "I'd really like to see other people's powers, if you're done showing off your lovely paper burning."

"Miss Martinez, everyone's powers are good for something," the teacher told her sternly. "Fire is useful in the cold and for a light,"

"You know what's even better for a light?" She flicked a light globe out of her fingers and into to air. "This." She shot it forward and watched as it wove in and out of the rows of desks and back into her hand.
