Controling your Powers — Session 3

Laden storde confidently into the room. "Sorry I'm late." he said to the teacher. "I had a little trouble finding the place." He smiled. "As a matter of fact I still am not sure I'm in the right class!" He walked to the back of the room and took a seat.

Judas leaned back in his chair, horribly bored, slowly lighting some old notes aflame, letting the smoke waft up in the air.
"Truly, burning one's useless items and...other useless things is divine. I enjoy it at least."

Mimosa leaned foreward to look at him. "Judas, are you always this philosophical?"

Judas smiled at her, his eyes wary, blinking slowly.
"Well, I suppose it's all the sort of rubbish that fuels my writing. Everything is meaningless anyway, why talk say such little things? But I guess what I just said is sort of philosopical too. I guess I've just always liked fire...hehehehe."
He chuckled in a friendly tone, although it seemed hollow, and with a flick of his wrist, the ashes were cleared from his desk and floated into the trashcan.

Mimosa blinked. "You played with matches as a child, didn't you?" She grinned. "I like fire too."

Judas suddenly flinched at her words, his dazzling grin gone.
"Child...ah...yes."
He began laughing pleasantly, and that charming grin returned as he nodded.
"Yes, fire is truly my favorite element, it can truly change and mold anything into dust. It's beautiful. I'm no pyromaniac, but it is truly beautiful, mesmerizing even. A simple sort of Neanderthal-type curiousity with fire I think is in everyone..."

"If you could all turn to page 87 in your textbook..." the teacher droaned on.

Mimosa payed little attention, and wound up opening her book to page 117. "I agree. Fire is beautiful. It dwells deep within our souls. It truly is facinating."

Judas peered lazily at page 87, yawning quietly as he heard Mimosa's words, his eyes tired and almost dead.
"Yes, yes, of course, like the light of our souls! You understand the essence of a pyrokinetic now! We bare the light and energy of our souls out into the open, draining whatever little bit of soul we begin with...Truly fascinating."

With a final grin at Judas, Mimosa turned to her work....quickly flipping to the correct page. She scanned the book.

"Controlling your powers - Chapter 7..."

Mimosa was already bored, practically to tears.
