Well, his rage was not unreasonable, Marcus thought, glancing at Ferris Legs which looked absolutely horrible. Is he ignoring the pain, or is the adrenaline from almost dying nulling some of it?

"Wait, creatures," Marcus remembered, and quickly looked at his watch. Too much time had passed. "Um, guys, I could only hold them for five minutes." He had definitely screwed up. "Don't worry, they're still close, but we're going to need to recapture th-" He had just turned to the pages they were captured in, only to find they were still there. How? It had definitely been more than five minutes. Was it because they were Animals.

"Nevermind, everyone." That was awkward.

We aim to exterminate them in the next few years, btu their seeds are buried deep and take a while to grow, the guide said, seeming to miss that Ferris was likely not completely serious, but instead responding out of anger.

The guide turned its head to listen to Marcus, but when he declared 'nevermind' it simply bobbed it's head.

Then let us make haste to the forest entrance, and you can release them with the rest we captured in the past.

"When you figure out a way to extermate those things sign me up for it, ill homicide their species." ferris growled both in anger of the plants but also at his injured legs, he would definitely have to make a good healing potion for them. Not the first time he dealt with injuries like this so the pain, while very annoying, ferris would begin walking forward and picking up the coffin that held the other creatures along the way.

"Wouldn't that be Genocide, not Homicide?" Marcus Called out, moving towards the other two. "You are trying to take out a species, not just individual creatures."

The work appeared to be done here, so all they really needed to do now was get out of the forest. Hopefully, though, that should be the only one of its kind they find. Ferris alone would probably rage out on the next one he saw.

The guide watched Ferris as he began to walk, showing no visible concern--nor any other emotions--beyond giving them more of their focus.

You should speak to the rangers, the guide said. They are always doing their best to exterminate synthesis plants. Rooting them out is difficult, even if destroying them while prepared is not.

Thankfully, the trip back to the forest entrance was infinitely less eventful than their trip in. The sarcophagus was able to dispense the creatures safely into the pen the guide led them too, and the guide would prompt Marcus to do the same with the ones he'd caught as well.

With all the (living) creatures in the pen, their job was thankfully done.

I will wait for the last member of the party to return with the body. You two do not need to wake, but I thank you for your assistance in this.

With a wide, sweeping bow, their guide gave them a bow, it's forebody going almost horizontal with the ground.
