Vinas walked on the grounds of the school. She had arrived a little bit ago, and had taken her stuff to a dorm, and then came back out. What was she to do here? She hardly understood this all. She was lucky she knew how to speak, though, that seemed so stranged to. She had lost her memory, she couldn't remember anything, it was all so strange, and... weird.

In the short times with siblings and her mother, she learned quite a bit, though, not as much as these people around her, which made her a little embarssed, that she didn't even want to talk to anyone, though, her mother didn't think her daughter say. Vinas sighed, and pulled the hood of her coat over her eyes a little, and walked around.

She was hoping to look around to see how this place is, and what these people do, it was all so strange to her, she wished she knew more then she does. She said, as ashe made a bird as an illusion and she merely made it fly about until she looked away and it disappeared. Where did she get her powers?

While the girl stood there and pondered about herself, a lean, tall male was hiding out atop a branch of a tall tree. His long legs and hair would probably make him quite conspicious. He had been resting up there for hours now, for he anxiously sought a way to kill time. How did he get up there anyway? With his black feathered wings. He looked down to see a girl that he hasn't seen before. He watched as she created and illusionary bird and sent it off into flight. It flew gracefully through the sky. This boy wished he could be able to fly like that, for he had been practicing for a while.

The girl began to walk off. She appeared to be a new student. The boy had been here for a while now and felt that she needed some help. He jumped off the tree branch, spread out his black feathered wings and began to glide through the air around her. He had been working on this for quite some time, with some assistance from one of his new found friends. He gracefully landed next to the trunk of the same tree he took off from, standing in the shadow of it.

Vinas suddenly stopped, noticing the boy. Quickly she turned to face him and stood there, suddenly rigid, not moving at all. A boy with wings? Impossible. Nothing on her moved, except the wavering of her long blue hair in the calm breeze of summer. Her eyes were very dim, and seemed paler. Her gaze never left the boy, never wavered from him, and they always stayed emotionless as she stared.

She had never seen someone with wings, it was... odd. People weren't supposed to have wings, birds were, not humans. Or was he not a human? If he wasn't then what was he? It wasn't normal for someone to have wings. Yeah, she accepted the idea of people having power, but wings? It was weird, her mother told her nothing of seeing people with wings. So she stood there, pondering this, though, getting nowhere, but she still, did not move.

Standing in the shadow of the tree for basically no reason, Cade glanced at the girl again. He noticed that had been looking at him the whole time he was in the air, strange. The girl appeared to be confused about a lot of things, maybe everything, though she showed no emotion at that moment. As for his wings, it is a power of his. Sure, it was odd, but he is human all the same. The boy slowly walked out of the shadow of the tree to reveal himself. He tilted his head to the side and raised an eyebrow as he broke the silence between the two people. "What? Never seen a winged dude here before?"

When he stepped out of the shadow, she looked at his wings. She was still confused about it, no one mentioned people with wings, she never knew people could. When he spoke, she looked at him, and shook her head slowly. She didn't know if she should speak, when she does though, it seems weird.

"No... I never have... I didn't think humans could have wings." She said, her voice quiet, and seemed a bit shallow, like she haven't said much in her days, which was true.

When the girl answered, Cade nodded slowly. People may think that it wasn't normal to see humans with wings. However, in this Academy, it is quite a common sight nowadays. She claimed she didn't know about it. Cade shrugged and widened his eyes, his wings spreading out, reaching as far out as they can.

The girl seemed to be misguided by someone or something. The boy felt that someone needed to clue her in, which he would now try to do. "Wow...you're saying that you didn't think that there could be people like me running, wandering, or floating around here, like we don't even exist? Strange. Its normal here." Cade carefully examined the girl and her features. Nope, never seen her before. "You're not from around here are you? Are you new to the school? Or what?"

She bit her lip. It was stupid of her to say such a thing, and to believe that their won't be strange people here, but it wasn't her fault, she forgot everything and here she may seem like the stupidest person ever, but she didn't bother herself much with these thoughts, but now that she was here and talking to people, she fault slightly embarrassed for not knowing much.

"People with wings isn't normal, not anyone with power, but to me.... wings on a human is... weird... birds are supposed to fly, not humans..." She said, mumbling the last part. She looked up when he asked something. She shook her head. "Uhh.... No... I'm not from around here, I'm new." She said.

After that last comment by the girl, Cade squinted his eyes. Sure he it wasn't normal in most for people to have wings, but Cade is human all the same. Although she may be feeling stupid, that didn't necessarily mean that she is, well, at least Cade thought so. She thought that the idea of humans having wings is....weird. Somewhat irritated by that comment, Cade scoffed, then turned to look away from the girl. She said she is new. Well, that explains her looking confused. He spoke again, in a dark toned voice. "You shouldn't judge people only by appearance...."

Vinas herself got a little annoyed at what he said. "I am not judging anyone by their appearance, I merely say it is weird for a human to have wings. If you wish to be angry at what I said, then so be it, be angry at words. I did not think humans could have wings, but now that I see it, I will believe it." She said, calmly, though she was slightly angry.

Cade sighed softly after heeding the girl's words. He shook his head slightly, then took off into the air once again. He possitioned himself in the same tree in which he had been sitting earlier. There he stood quietly contemplating on what to say now. After a few minutes of silence, he spoke again.

"Sure, it may be weird. So what? In this place, a lot of things are weird here, but nobody here seems to be concerned by that. At some point in our lives, the students here had to accept these "weird" things. I didn't accept it at first, but after a while, I just sort of grew into my powers, somewhat getting use to them a little more with each day that passes. It's almost like a pre-determined fate in which we all have to deal with sooner or later." he said calmly.
