Edward had been playing with shadow dolls not far away from the four students, and hadn't bothered talking to them when she heard their footsteps behind her. She'd been involved in her conversation with the two small objects, and hadn't really wanted to be disturbed. But now there were more people standing behind her, and someone was screaming.
She'd have to go somewhere else.
Ed stood up, squishing the two dolls back to shadows and pushing them back behind a bush where she'd found the shadow. She patted her hands dry, slowly walking over to the cliff and looking down at the object of the other student's attention.
"They're dead." She announced, kicking a few pebbles off the edge of the cliff carelessly. She knew she should care, but she'd never met the people before.. But the others might tell her mom if she didn't look upset. She mustered a half-hearted sighed, sitting down on the edge of her cliff and kicking her legs back and forth. Just a few minutes to morn them, and she’d be on her way.
