Comments at the lake :open:

Anala looked out over the lake, and flicked her tail, and thought about all the changes in her life. The most alarming thing was her classes which would start tomorro it still had her shaken thinking of the people that she would have to be in the same 'box' with. She still couldn't think of them as rooms, only boxes, they were square, and closed up like boxes, and she felt slightly trapped in them. Sighing she decided not to think of those things after all.

"People here sure act strangly..." She said out loud thinking of the people gathered in the lounge. "Why do they all want to hang around in such big groups all the time..." Realizing she was talking out loud to herself, she looked around to make sure no one was around to take offense. Seeing a shadow from the corner of her eye, she blushed. Standing in her faded yellow spaghatti strap shirt and worn out baggy jeans she felt as embarassed as if she was standing naked.

Mat leaned casually against a tree, hanging in the cool shadow. It was beginning to warm up a little since the winter months had ended and he enjoyed relaxing in the cool breeze. He had noticed the girl flicking her tail and smiles, One with a tail..and I thought I was odd.. he inclines his head curiously. He had never seen anyone with a tail before and thought it would be preposterous to even imagine, though now that he'd actually seen one, it didn't seem so wierd. Blah, but his whole life had been turned upside down when he received his powers, so nothing seemed wierd to him any longer.

"Why do they all want to hang around in such big groups all the time..."

He chuckles lightly, she had no idea how right she was. He had noticed the same thing and it kind of felt wierd to him. Whether he was no longer considered a freak or not didn't matter here, but he was so used to being alone with only his thoughts, it didn't matter. He lets out a deep sigh and pushes his blue sunglasses back up on his face. What a strange life he had wandered into.

Ember sat up in a tree, one with few branches so she could see better when she looked down below. She had thought the lake was as empty as a ghost town, but she wrong. She spotted a girl looking over at the lake. Her eyes widened slightly when she noticed that the stranger had a tail. She'd never seen anyone with a tail before, and she'd always wanted to.

She was just about to jump down and make conversation with the girl when she spotted someone else. A male, leaning against the tree Ember was currently sitting on, watching the girl. Curious, but not curious enough about the boy, she still jumped off, landing gracefully like a cat on her legs near the boy, and headed over to the girl. "Hi there."

Anala turned, nearly jumped as the other person startled her, to the people and hung her head low, ready to appologize, in proper polite form. "I'm so sorry if my words and comments have offended you in any way!" Her heart was thumping in her chest, this was the first person that she'd met and she'd just messed up, well this was great. Her eyes were shut tight, and her ears were pinned back and her tail was limp behind her. Oh dear.... Was her only thought as she waited for a reply.

Klay was not meaning to go to the lake, and it was rare that she got lost. She didn't like the lake anymore, thanks to the monster that was lurking in it. She still couldn't bend over from him. She rubbed her ribs from the painful memory. Turning her attention to voices, she watched some people, three of them, in there positions. one moved over to the other and talked, while one was next to a tree. She leaned against the tree behind her and watched them.

Mat doesn't even blink when he sees the other girl jump out of the tree and land beside him. He glances over at her and follows her over to the position of the other student. He overhears the other girl completely freak out and chuckles a little, Amusing..she's pretty polite..I don't think I'd ever be able to talk like that.. He sighs and shakes his head. He hears the other person arrive over at another tree a ways away, Someone new arrives and they all flock like flies to a light..I don't recall getting a greeting like this.. He takes off his sunglasses, one of the few occasions and rubs his itchy eyes. As he pulls his hands away, the bright green shade glows as it reflects the light of the sun, though seconds later his glasses slide back over them.

A small giggle spurted through ember's lips. She couldn't help to think it was partially funny how the girl reacted...and a little weird. She had immediately apologized for no reason. Now that was a bit odd. The girl had nothing to apologize for, and she didn't even say anything, so way was she saying for towards something she said? It was all a little confusing at first to Ember, but she quickly said, "Why should you be sorry? You didn't even say anything. I should be sorry, I didn't mean to startle you....My name's Ember."

Anala saw all the attention she was grabbing, and took a step away from all the people. "Then I would take it that you didn't hear my previous comment about the social behaviours of our peers?" She asked slowly and thoughtfully, in the same polite soft tone. Her tail still hanging low, ears still pinned back she noticed all three people were looking at her, nervous she bowed, and introduced herself. "As I seem to have run into you, I suppose the most proper thing to do would be to tell you my name, I am Anala Lillium Christatus, it is a pleasure to meet you all." She striaghtened and smiled uneasily. They're like flies... She thought to herself.

Her previous comment? Ember tried thinking back to when she had first spotted the girl..and remembered that she had indeed said something to herself, but didn't really hear it. "Well, I heard it...but I wasn't really paying attention.." She gave a small chuckle.

Ember looked around and noticed another girl a ways away, watching, just like the boy. And then how the girl introduced herself to all of them. And the girl gave her entire name...long-ish name. "It's nice to meet you, Anala."

Mat inclines his head slightly, What an odd name.. he thinks to himself before turning away from the pair and walking out to the shore of the lake. He stared out over the waters, watching the ebb and flow of the tide due to the breeze. He tosses his bangs out of the front of his sunglasses and draws his gunblade. It had been a while since he had actually used the weapon and decided he should do a little target practice sine he was bored. He brings up the blade and sites up ahead into the ocean, charging a small electrical ball up as ammo. It wasn't enough to kill the fish it hit, but it was stun it for a few minutes. He watches the water ahead of him for a few moments before seeing a fish pop up and he quickly pulls the trigger and hits the fish, sinking it a moment later. He wears a grim smile of satisfaction on his face and turns to shoot the next one. Man..I'm so bored I've resorted to doing this crap..
