The sky is black at the Manta Carlos beach. The ocean itself is raging violently. A representative of the Manta Carlos Coast Guard stands before a group of four volunteers. He looks tired to say the least as he proceeds to brief the volunteers on the current state of affairs.
“I am sure by now you are all aware why you’re here. There are currently a handful of fishing boats that are caught in this storm, and cannot make it back to port. We need you to use your collective skills to help with this rescue. This storm is abnormal, those of you familiar with these waters will probably notice this immediately. Rescue boats have been prepared, please board them, and we will transport you to their last known locations. Swimmers, save your strength for when we get in range. I wish you all the best of luck.”
With that, he proceeded to board the ship.
