Cloud Watching

Nyota continued to give James a somewhat concerned expression but felt it was best to not press the subject any further with him than she already had. No need to ruin the mood with a tragic sob story or something.

"Huh... alright. Was I guess they were something to you."

Nyota was quick to point out a cloud in the sky in an attempt to redirect the conversation away from whatever foul memories that James was holding back.

"Alright see that cloud over there? It looks just like a giant ball of cotton candy now doesn't it? You could almost grab out from the sky now."

Nyota holds out her as if to grab the cloud with her hand. She then clutched her fist with nothing and allowed gravity to let her arm to fall onto the grass once more.

"Too bad its just out our reach though." quipped Nyota as she watched the clouds stroll on by.

"Hee... yeah I know I great. You don't need to remind of that every day though... dork~" teased Nyota as she returned a playful nudge with her own elbow.

Nyota's eyes continue to scan the skies for additional clouds with noteworthy features. She found him being thankful for her a bit weird... all she really did was agree to go out cloudwatching with him. She hadn't done anything life-changing for him as fair as she was concerned.

"And your welcome... I guess. Didn't really do anything aside from pointing at a couple of clouds. But whatever, glad I could help. Oh... and I wasn't THAT freak out was I?"

Did she freak out? She didn't she had... she thought herself as being rather calm throught the whole exchange actually.

Nyota a bit surprised by how much James seems to care for her. The two of them barely knew each other for a month and here he was fawning over her. But then again... she was probably the only person he ever considered a friend so... maybe it was natural for him to latch onto her. Not that she was an expert on the subject or anything as James was the person she could ever call a friend as well. Kinda sad when you think about it. She didn't think of herself as that great of friend as James makes her out to be.

"To be frank, I didn't think I would make friend so quickly. Hell... didn't think I would ever make friends here. So used to putting up my guard up around everyone that I was just kinda used to being alone... or maybe I felt that I deserved to be alone. And now here we are looking at fucking clouds. Sometimes I think universe appreciates good humor. But... yeah. I guess the feeling is mutual."

Nyota spots a peculiar looking cloud in the sky. She then pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed.

"Okey okey... I am going to sound like a dork but... that cloud just below the sun... looked like the star ship Enterprise."

"Hrmp... maybe..." whispered quietly to herself as she continued to watch the cloud Enterprise slowly morph into a pelican.

As she listened to Jame's idea about visiting the space station she slowly nodded her head in agreement. She personally liked the idea of going into space and since she thought of herself to stupid to ever become an astronaut... visiting the space station was probably the only way she could realistically be that much closer to the stars.

"Well it looked like the Enterprise... now it looks like a retarded pelican. But yeah, we should go visit that space station. I mean... space man... that shit is on my bucket list. I dunno I feel about trying that... alien food though. Unless its something like space pizza. I'd try some space pizza. We should look into how it is we go about visiting that space station."

Nyota goes quite for a moment as her eyes settled on staring into the sun. Some unexplained part of her desired to get just a bit closer to that radiant ball of heat... even it was only tad bit closer.

Nyota couldn't hold back the childish grin she had on her face. She wasn't sure if it was the borrowed memories of old god's time or her own fasiniation with outer space that caused her to break out in a smile.

"Well... its the final frontier. To go boldly where no man has gone before... right? Its always been something I had always wanted to do... well alright then. Make it so... James." jokingly ordered Nyota as she went back to cloud gazing once more.

"Hmmm... what was your last name again? I don't remember asking you."

It may have sounded rather to ask that question now but for Nyota she was curious on the subject of his last name as she was about to call him by his last name until she realized that she didn't know (or at least didn't remember) James last name.
