Cloaked In Darkness

Miranda wandered out onto the school grounds late one night, fully cloaked. She was tired of being inside all day and couldn't sleep a minute, so she snuck out. "Curse the vampires." She said to herself, giving a deep sigh as she sat down next to the edge of the lake and examined her skin color, slightly grey. It had been nearly two years since the night Mir had been biten, and she still couldn't seem to get used to the fact she was going to stay, well, a monster for the rest of her immortal life. "I'd give anything to be normal." She mumbled, tracing her finger along the surface of the lake's water.

Ace was on the other side of the lake, throwing fire balls into the water just becouse of the sound it made. He kind of love his powers... he was lucky, but then unlucky by far. He made a huge fire ball on and shoved his head into it, looking like her had a fire head. He just found out that he can do his fire skillz in his werewolf forum. He looked over at the other side for the lake and say a girl. A girl, out this late... Ace said to him self.

As Miranda sat there, staring lazily at her reflection on the lake's surface, a small light caught her attention... causing the girl to quickly look up in order to possibly see who had conjured such light. "You have got to be kidding..." Mir trailed off to herself, raising a brow as she rolled her eyes from the scene she'd just witnessed from afar.

A boy, no doubt, had been the one to create such light. The light itsself was actually a huge fireball, and what he was doing with this fireball simply made Miranda frown. Why would anyone want to stick a fireball on their head? Really, it makes no sense. She thought quietly, and then quickly pushed the thought aside. Tonight she didn't feel like dealing with silly boys showing off their "special" talents... it only reminded her of the one she possesed. Only, Miranda didn't quite think of hers as a "special talent".
