Christian suffers from multiple personality disorder, where he can slip into various other personalities that are very different from his own. There are currently five personalities that each have their own identities.
As himself, Christian is sweet and chivalrous. He's friendly, and a loyal companion to anyone he befriends, but can be incredibly shy when it comes to romance. He is dedicated to his work as a teacher, and enjoys helping his students grow.

Christian was born into a family of human mages, his birth causing the death of his mother. From a young age, Christian suffered at the hands of his father who emotionally and physically abused him due to a mental collapse following his wife's death. His powers as a mage appeared when he turned thirteen, but his father refused to teach him anything about their family's heritage. He practiced in secret. The trauma brought on by his father's abuse caused him to develop several different personalities, all who strove to protect Christian's fragile mind from remembering anything about his childhood of torture. At fifteen, he was offered an escape: Starlight Academy. Despite his father's cruel efforts to keep him from leaving, Christian fled from his home and sought help from the academy. Finally safe, Christian devoted himself to his studies and treated the island as a safe haven. Once he finished his education, Christian decided to become a teacher for the academy to give back to the institution that saved his life.

Highly protective, Ryder embodies the strong-and-silent type. He doesn't usually have much to say and is more of a listener, not often expressing much emotion, though he should not be mistaken for painfully-shy Aiden. Ryder seems to be the one who utilizes Christian's muscles the most, and is attentive to the needs of those around him. He usually appears if Christian encounters someone who is distressed or in trouble and will rush to their aid, doing anything to make sure they are safe and protected, especially if that person is important to Christian.
Cameron likes to think of himself as the one who runs the show. He enjoys surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding, and is a bit of a show-off and an egoist. He often complains that Christian doesn't take enough risks in his life and is too boring, so he is often responsible for changing up Christian's looks.
Quiet and shy, Aiden isn't frequently seen by others, likely because he doesn't like to make his presence known. He enjoys studying and reading, and was responsible for Christian's grades in school. Aiden hates conflict, and will hide behind the other personalities if confronted, usually preferring to keep to himself. If he does speak, it's typically in a barely-audible voice or in cryptic little quotes from novels or persons of great importance. Aiden seems to be the most sympathetic towards Christian.
Recognized as being the most expressive of the personalities, as well as homosexual, Kayden considers himself the most "cultured" of the group. He has an extensive knowledge of popular culture and musical theatre, and will often hum or sing show tunes. Kayden is every girl's gay best friend, and is easily recognized by his brash and flamboyant personality.
Even more rarely seen than Aiden, Stefano is violent, and especially aggressive towards women. The other personalities don't speak of him much, and it seems that they do their best to keep him from appearing, though he may occasionally slip out. He typically speaks in Italian whenever he emerges - it's unknown whether or not he speaks English.

Christian can manipulate natural objects. He has the ability to speed up the growth of various flora, and can cause soil to shift with a simple touch. He must have physical contact with what he is manipulating in order for it to be effective.
Christian can use the air to push objects around, up to two times his own weight. The heavier an object is, the more difficult it will be for him to move, and the more taxing it is on him.
Christian can control up to ten gallons of water at once, causing it to move at his will without touching it. The more water he is controlling, the more difficult it becomes; a simple glass or droplet of water is easy to manipulate, but a full ten gallons runs the risk of him losing control over the water.
Christian can summon magical fire from his hands, so long as there is oxygen in the air. If handled for more than ten minutes, it can burn Christian's skin. He can mold the fire into shapes no bigger than a bowling ball, or can cause other objects to catch on fire with physical contact.
