She has a relatively slim figure, but she is definitely strong. She prefers to wear mostly black clothing which consists of a standard school girl uniform. She has a gray scarf that she wears at almost all times, using as much as she can to cover her face. She also has some white headphones that she wears to drown out the sound of the world around her and listen to her music.
Personality Description: Chloe is extremely shy and hates the idea of being the center of attention or being in a large crowd. She doesn't speak very loud when she does speak, preferring to let others do the talking for her. She is always hiding, trying to make sure nothing happens to her. While she loathes the idea of fighting, she has experience in it, and won't hesitate. When she is determined, she can be extremely brutal and emotionless. She doesn't tend to let her emotions cloud judgement much, prefering to take a practical solution. For example if she has to kill 100 people to save 101, she would do it. She is defensive of the people she considers friends, though it is not easy for her to see you as a friend. She has low self esteem despite being quite bright. She prefers to be in the dark, since that is where the world looks its most simple. Though she knows to carry a lighter or lantern with her at all times, knowing the limitations of her powers.
Powers: Chloe has the ability to manipulate Shadows. She is able to create solid objects out of shadows, but she can only keep an object solid for about 5 minutes if it isn't connected to her body. Her shadow objects must spawn from a preexisting shadow, such as her own, that of an object or that of another person. Her shadow objects are as hard as steel when they are first created, and when they wear off they dissipate in a wispy manner. Her shadow objects are solid black and have a gaseous appearance. She can use this technique to create things like claws to attack with, a wall to protect herself and allies, or fake doubles to try and fool enemies in the darkness. She can also make herself fade into her shadows. This technique takes a second to perform and makes herself appear as a ball of darkness on the ground or walls, able to be molded to what she sees fit. She can only enter the shadows from a preexisting shadow, though she is able to leave the preexisting shadow once she is one. She can move very fast a shadow, yet only on walls on the ground. She is only able to stay in Shadow Mode for 15 minutes at a time, and after it she has to wait the amount of time that she was in it to use it again. So if she was in it for 3 minutes, she has to wait 3 minutes. She can also merge with her shadows, which is done by creating shadow objects to cover her body while she is in normal form. The downside of this technique is that it blinds her, no matter where the shadows form. She is skilled at fighting the dark, yet this is still a disadvantage. Her biggest weakness is that she can only fight when there is some form of light nearby. If there is no light present, there is nothing that can she can use to create shadows. From the day she was born she was kept isolated from the people around her and forced into being a submissive addition to their lineup. Her parents were not pleased to discover their only daughter was only good at hiding and running away. Eventually Chloe had enough and left her family behind. It was in her ensuing escape that she discovered her unique addition to the family technique, the ability to hide in the shadows. She managed to make it away from her family and into America, where she took on the name Chloe Harken. Upon taking on the name, she found a caretaker in a distant relative who disagreed with the ways of her parents. She found herself enrolled in school and lived a isolated life for two years. She was an outcast and became surprised when a letter actually came to her for school. Why would anyone want to have such a freak in their school?
