A small smile plays across his face and he chuckles, "It doesn't really matter to me..whatever is easiest on you.." He makes an effort to shrug as if it doesn't matter but fails. Personally, somewhere deep inside of him he hopes she decides to walk, kind of liking being this close to her.

Without realizing he wanted it in the first place she decided to walk, she didn't know if she'd be able to focus that long in the air so she decided walking was the safest, best way to go. "Well... Considering the things I guess it'd be best if I was close to the ground today." She said hoping he didn't mind. She continued walking at a slow pace mainly because she didn't want him to get hurt or for her to seem rushy. She wanted to do what was best so she picked a comfortable medium pace.

Painter sighs again, closing his eyes and shutting the world out for a few minutes, a technique his father taught him before he left home. He focuses on the main occurances of the day, noting those of the most importance. He then erases the small details around them and stores the main things into his head to remember. He opens his eyes again and glances at her, "Don't strain yourself over me..I'm not that important.."

She chuckled, "It's not for you, it's because I don't know if I'd be able to focus with my visions and stuff. I think today I need to stay grounded." She said with a light smile it was kinda funny grounded, grounded. The same word but used in different ways, she was never grounded, she just never had a life outside of working. Her grounded was doing three times the work she normally did, then after being grounded it would only go down one knotch and not back to normal. She was relatively used to hard work, and that's one thing which did occaisonally come in handy.

Painter sighs and closes his eyes, "Whatever floats your boat.." he takes a couple of breaths and relaxes. His body was sore all over, but he didn't want to say anything to seem weak..he just pretended it was regular exhaustion and nothing too bad. However, his breathing begins to become labored and his right rib, where he landed after the fall before the dream, starts to feel like it's digging into an organ. He continues not to say anything, just gritting his teeth through the pain.

She sensed something wasn't right, after all she was right next to him. She looked at him and sighed, "You know... maybe we should fly, I think I feel alright after all." She realized most likely he had gotten injured on the fall or something and was trying to act all tuff and hide it only making himself get worse.

"Where do you hurt? And don't lie, I'm not a idiot, now tell me where you hurt and I'll figure how I'm going to fly you to the hospital to make sure your okay. And don't you dare argue with me, because I could hurt you if I had to." She said refering to his tiredness. "Also... I don't have a boat so why float it?"

Painter stares at her quietly for a few moments and sighs, deciding he's in no shape to argue. "I think I cracked a rib on the fall..not sure though..I just feel something scratching against an organ.." He looks away from her and at the ground, reaching up with his free hand and gently touching it, wincing as a large jolt of pain courses through him and makes him twitch, "Yeah..cracked or broken.." he says between ragged breaths, a little disappointed.

She decided if she held him from behind there was a chance she'd hit his rib. She sighed, "Okay how do you want to fly, you can pick because it'll hurt you if I chose because I don't know exactly where your hurt. So you can tell me how you want me to make sure you don't fall, though I think it's best if you and me fly together seeing if I held two separate figures in the air it'd be harder to concentrate." She said to him, unsure exactly how to hold onto him without hitting his ribs, or what way to hold him.

She was a bit unsure since she didn't have wings like she used to, she remembered a flight she made to the hospital once with a injured person who wasn't cared for very much by the academy students. She wondered how he was now adays and if people hated him as much, she couldn't remember his name or appearance so that didn't help much either.

Painter looks at her with a blank stare, "It doesn't matter..it's a cracked or broken rib, no matter where you grab me at, it's gonna hurt.." He chuckles painfully, "Just pick a place and we'll hope I don't die of pain.." He smiles at her encouragingly, "Just don't worry yourself too much about it.."

She sighed looking at him trying to figure out the least painful way to get him to the hospital. She decided it'd be easier if she either hugged him or held him from behind, she figured behind would be more painful seeing she'd have to have a hand near his ribcage. whereas the front she could be more careful to stay a distance away. She thought of holding his hand but the wind would press against his ribs making it hurt.

She decided a hug-like way would be easier for the both of them. She still thought of him as just a friend though so she decided it shouldn't be a awkward situation. She moved closer to him, "Okay, I'm going to lightly hug you kinda. This way I won't have to have a hand near your hurting rib and I'll secure you with one hand underneath the arm so you don't fall incase of something. I'll block the wind from hitting your rib and I'll stay a good distance from your rib so you don't get too much pain." She explained so it wouldn't be awkward, she slowly hugged him being careful to not hit his ribs she secured her hold and waited until he was ready to take off.
