Klay did not avert her eyes. This boy was either trying to get on her nerves or get away from her. Most likely the second. She felt bad, because most people talked to her more or tried to make her talk before they left. She felt like an animal for some reason. At least, she did when they did that, and yelled at her...

He glances over at her again. She was an odd one, but wasn't everyone at this school. With a small smile on his face he looks up at the ceiling, "You know..you should try and find ways to communicate with people..it may get annoying at times..but at others it can be, well, relaxing.." he says, trailing off at his last words.

Klay shrugged.
Her time would be over soon, then she could speak... But, if she did it now, her skin would be revealed... Not her light skin of humans. The dark blue skin of her people. Her true color. No, she did not want a way to communicate to humans. She just wanted to be home.
