Ian smiled, "That's nice." he said as he finished his soda and crushed it on the table and then pulled a pez dispenser from his pocket a popped a few candes in his mouth.
Renke stayed quiet, waiting for the ska kid to continue. He didn't now if he would, though, just because his sentences didn't seem to be very long, nor very interesting. Renke continued eating his sandwich, taking a drink between some bites.
So ska kid now has a real name, Renke thought to himself and smiled slightly. "I'm Renke." he replied, thinking it was a fair trade. That's the only reason he ever told anyone his name, really. He thought it fair.
Renke kept quiet, eating his sandwich. He liked it well enough, and the soda was good, as he had expected. Soda was soda. He noticed Ian staring up at the ceiling, perhaps bored, but he didn't really care much right now.
Renke could faintly hear the ska music after a while, his ears adjusting to the silence between them. He wondered how long Ian would stay here before he got bored.
"Yeah, I am too, for the most part." Renke replied, taking another bite of his sandwich. He was on the second half of it, and his soda was about halfway gone, maybe a little less.
