Finally, the day had come - student tryouts for this year's cheer squad. And Bel, who had been up since the crack of dawn, was both nervous and excited about this year's undertaking. The young goddess would be in charge of almost everything this morning - the setup, the mats, time and place, choosing who would go first, the girls' safety ... and everything detail in between.
Normally, the captain or head cheerleader would generally have a second in command to help them with whatever was needed. Unfortunately, due to a set of unforeseen circumstances, Bel - who was the second in command to the previous head - had been thrust into the captain's role and position when Aisha, the old cheer head had to suddenly step down, leaving the squad scrambling to make sure the group didn't fall apart. And thankfully it didn't. All the members had pulled together when it was needed the most - and despite a few other hiccoughs - the cheer team became popular not only with all the sports teams but with the crowds too... and now Bel hoped to carry that success forward into the new season.
"Mats laid out length-wise, check. Music, check. Water bottles, hair ties, stopwatch, and other assorted goodies, check..." Bel said as she carefully double-checked her clipboard with her to-do list to make sure everything was in order for when the tryouts started in less than twenty-five minutes.

Previous cheer members - Dalia, Aedes, Eliza, and Kaya - must post at least once to demonstrate they are still part of the team. Anyone who doesn't will be considered as a former cheerleader and has moved on to other activities.
Everyone else needs to post at least twice to be considered part of the cheer squad.
There is no posting order, however, please be considerate of others and allow everyone to post one time before moving on. Important to note, I will only wait 5 days for everyone to post before moving on. ]
