Megan walked through the Library noticing many books she had wanted to read. After picking at least 14, she ambled over to the front desk hoping someone would help her carry her armload of books.
Suddenly more than half of the books floated simply out of her hands, and into the arms of a waiting young man with a deceptively charming smile and tired eyes.
"Ah, madamme, I must help you. Who says chivalry is dead, allow me."
Taking a good number of books into his arms, and making sure she hadn't a heavy load, he smirked, letting a few books float around his head.
"Where to, miss?"
"Uh, hi," said Megan hastily "I-I was just going over to the library desk. Thanks." she looked at him at smiled faintly. His eyes were dark and percing... almost hurt looking... yet charming. "Oh by the way I'm Megan. I'm 16. Its only my first year year..." she trailed off in the middle of her sentence noticing a wisp of of white pass over a shelf. Tucking a piece of brown hair behind her ears she nearly whispered "Did you see that/' still staring where the flash had been.
Judas peered over at where the girl had indicated, arching his eyebrows in apathy.
"Hmm? Didn't see anything over there..."
He continued to walk with her to the library desk, smiling again.
"But of course, one must be aware of the many...interesting characters here. Perhaps what you saw was a sign of some student using their power. Nice to meet you by the way, it's my first year here to. The name is Judas Anderson."
"Thats true," replied Megan faintly "I guess, it was just a trick or something..dunno," she looked worried "Anyway, nice to meet you. Wha umm class are you in? Lke.. since I'm 16 I'm in the 6 advanced." she smiled again "Thanks again for helping me."
Judas nodded eagerly.
"Yes, it is quite an interesting place in here indeed, splendid library..."
They finally reached the library desk and Judas let the books floating around him land there in a stack, laying the ones in his arms on the stack as well.
"And I can see that you, like me, have a certain love for books. Truly great library here."
"Yes, especially the works of Alana and Mydro," she replied a twinkle in her eye, "sooo ummm heres the desk...uhhh," she began then smiled her real smile," Thanks," Nice guy... she thought And of course I had to be clumsy
Judas peered at Megan in the eyes, his eyes tired but still quite nice, a patient smirk on his face.
"Well then, it was quite interesting meeting yet another member of the academy, I was glad I could be of some use."
He held out his hand to shake.
"Ta"
