Shy - Charlie is very shy, quiet and withdrawn. She is clumsy and awkward with social interaction and though she doesn't actively avoid it she doesn't actively enjoy it a lot either. Charlie feels very self-conscious when she speaks due to her slight stutter, but despite all this Charlie enjoys a good conversation about any topic she feels confident with. At the end of the day Charlie is an introvert, but one that gets lonely once in a week and climbs out of her hole to find people she can get her social quota filled with.
Careful - Charlie tries to be careful with many areas in life, and always keeps an eye out for possible hazards. She chooses her words carefully so she doesn't insult anyone, looks at her feet so she doesn't trip and keeps an eye out on other people too in case they are in trouble or danger. All in all Charlie is bit paranoid, but in a way that makes her seem thoughtful, which she is. In a way.
Nice - Charlie always tries to talk in a way that has no chance to offend anyone, but she doesn't do it just because of her insecurities. Charlie really is nice, and thinks a lot about other people and their needs. Even if she doesn't always have the ability to fulfill people's wishes or act as socially capable as she wants to Charlie has a good heart and her gestures have no ill intent behind them.
Easily Amused - Charlie, surprisingly, laughs at jokes very easily if they are presented as clear jokes and not wordplay or puns. Charlie has the tendency to take things pretty literally, unless it is clear that the words are meant as a joke. But when Charlie would want to laugh she usually just grins behind her hand, thinking laughing outloud isn't proper.
Doormat - Charlie is very very bad at confrontation, and more often than not just lets people walk all over her in order to avoid causing anyone grief or any kind of discomfort. Charlie's patience is very long, and although she has that bear temper it's hidden under many layers of insecurity.
Smart - Charlie may not be the most clever person outside school, but at academics her intelligence is impeccable. Charlie gets straight As, has a great memory and even excels in athletics.
Bookworm - Charlie loves reading for fun, and she is pretty picky when it comes to books. But the books Charlie does love are usually very good due to her refined taste, and in her free time she writes some book reviews for literary magazines.
Faker - Charlie is very insecure due to her bullying background, and she usually tries to hide the person she really is. Charlie loves exercising and playing and watching sports, roughhousing, and laughing outloud. But Charlie buries away the masculine side of herself, and instead tries to act overly girly and even acts dumb, pretending to not be as smart as she truly is. This way, she thinks, people will accept her more easily, if she just sticks to a role.

Sex Swap Charm
Charlie was born in Melbourne Australia with her twin into a family of bear shifters. The family already had three children beforehand, but Charlie and her twin would be the last.
Charlie was assigned the male gender at birth, and the first 4 years of her life she lived by it. But when she was around 5 and entered pre-school she started realizing, that maybe she wasn't a he after all. Still young and clueless back then Charlie happily told everyone she knew about her true gender. This would start a chain of bullying, discrimination and humiliation for Charlie. At school she was called the drag queen or tranny, and at home she was called disgusting and other mean names by her oldest brother and sometimes older sister. Charlie's younger older sister Jazz was on her side, and often during her childhood and preteen years Charlie found solace in her company, if Jazz allowed it.
Although Charlie had to go through all this bullying she couldn't bring herself to pretend to be something she was not. So Charlie dressed in the clothes she wanted, even if they were girl's clothes, and lived as a girl. She lived quietly and was almost invisible most of primary school, but she lived as a girl.
Around the age of 12 Charlie started facing a lot of social pressure about gender stereotypes. She was very smart and good at school, and also liked to move and play sports and read comics. Charlie's bullies called her out on being un-girly, and calling her a liar, that she only wanted attention by pretending to be trans. So Charlie, trying to prove herself, dummed herself down, wore more girly clothes, used makeup and barely participated in PE classes anymore. She followed all the norms or being a girl, hoping to blend in and prove she could call herself one with pride. At home Charlie was pretty much ignored, although she was scared to death of her older brother's occasional jabs at her and how wrong she was.
The family, upon an incident with Charlie's older sister Jazz, ended up moving to Manta Carlos and live there now, Charlie having acquired a gender swap charm that she never takes off.
