Characters Names?

I usually use translators or baby name websites.

Altair= Actually... I'm not quite sure where I can't this name from. I can't remember where exactly, at least.

Hawksley=Last name of another character of mine, which I got off a website.

I use my own name. :)
Brianna means "strong one"
Heh, I'm not exactly physically strong, but I guess I am mentally and emotionally.

;) I like my name, so I use it as my character's name.

I chose my favourite cousin's first name=Iain.
And I wanted a colour for the surname. And since my charrie is an alien=White.
Iain+White=Iain White.

Or, mainly for girl charries, I take a name I like the sound of and mess around with the spelling until it seems really weird. Then sometimes I change the rpnoounciation too.
Emelea=Amelia Emily Em-ill-ay or even Em-eel-ee-ay .

I orignially created Mimosa for a fanfic, but I thought she'd be cool to role-play. The first name I just thought was pretty, and Belagant is the name of a character (her father).

Marvin Eledanya.

Marvin is the name of my fave charrie in a movie. Eledanya is just a really freaky nonsense thing. No meaning, for once. Other than the Marvin bit. He's a maniacly depressed robot in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I'm lame, but I watch the credits on movies for last names. *shurgs*

i think up one for the first name. Then i got to this site that transalates english words into like these 7 diff launguages. And u can also transalte foreign launguage stuff 2 english. So i think of a word that describes my character and get it in a diff launguge.

XD That's funny! I just go to Babynames.com or something. Danica sounded cool, and slightly Spanish, and Martinez is totally Spanish. I'm really into Spanish right now... for some reason...

Im good at thinking of names, I love writing Fantasy stories with strange names.

Interesting really...

When I first started RPing, I used a character named "Alexander Anderson"

And from there on, basically EVERY character I make in any RP has this template



(Cool sounding, archaic or often evil name) Anderson

I just like those first names, and the idea that they're possibly all related through different dimensions and worlds makes it even cooler. :D
