He grinned and chuckled as he threw her on his shoulders and started carrying her away, "had to keep you in suspense my love."A few of the other people in the park gave them odd looks, though a few gave them knowing smiles.
They exited the park, "thank you," he told her, "you've made life have meaning again." He grinned and gave her bottom and quick pinch as they came to their house.
Opening the door, he slipped in with her, and he 'made her his' as she had said. He didn't know what life held in store, but he did know that he wanted to face it with her, because he loved her, more than anything.
