He looked around in amazement at all the different things the surrounded him. There were all different kinds of people in the school. Dylan never could or imagined being in a place like this being around all different kinds of people because of his lack of socialisation with his own people. Dylan stated think about stuff like would there people here think he was wired o'r how would he talk to the people her? And most of all would the people here like him?

Dylan could see all the strange and wonderful looking people. He sometimes would start staring at people which would get him a few annoyed looks from people. Every time it happened he thought that time would stop. But for some reason Dylan wasn't scared like back home everyone seemed a lot nicer than the loud obnoxious from his home.

Dylan got a little smile from not having time freeze on him it meant that he trust these strangers not to hurt him and that they would forgive him for being a little strange. Dylan leaned against a wall and sighed. Finally maybe he found a place where he could fit in. Of course if no one comes up to him he could probably find a way to find friends. Calmly Dylan closed his eyes. He knew that people would being staring at him but he didn't really care.

For once the Admissions office was something of a bore. After maybe weeks of trying to find extra hands to help Cytus, she had found it in the hands of a couple of second year students. Although both combined were not nearly as efficient as the Aenari, as they tended to goof off more than work. When problems came up however, the pair could at least be counted on to help out in an emergency.

Of course, this meant that she still had to take care of a lot of the simple stuff, which meant checking if students were on the list to be registered or not. As far as this current list that Cytus was checking out however, the process of elimination was rather easy. She stood at the front desk and found one female, one dracoform, and another male. A quick check on the names of the list pointed at one boy having probably missed the list.

Cytus came out from behind the desk, approaching Dylan with all the silence of an owl. Not intended of course, it just happened when you were light on your feet. Dylan was right about one thing however, people were staring, Cytus especially; although this could be easily dismissed as being unable to see into more standard wavelengths of light.

"Have you registered for classes yet? I have not yet seen you around the school."

Of course she hadn't. But then again, it was her job to make sure that she would at some point see him around the school. Cytus' voice was more monotonic than anything, and was devoid of the normal emotion that most sentient species on the planet had. Once again, a cultural and physiological difference.

"I will be more than happy to assist you if required. If so, please follow me to my office."

Dylan jumped a little hearing someone addressing him. He never heard anyone walking towards him. He looked up and smiled a tiny bit. He looked at the rest of the room for a second and saw the people staring at him. He just sighed thinking nothing of it.

"Um ok i'm Dylan if that helps at all"

He kept his head down and talked quietly not wanting to attract much more attention than he already had. Dylan tapped his foot to see if it made noise. It did. Dylan couldn't imagine how light you'd had to walk to not alert him.

"I apologize if I have startled you. It appears to be an issue that is common with myself. My name is Cytus, I handle student admissions."

The silence of her footsteps was something that she was working on. Hard light constructs for footwear however was naturally quiet, and she had not yet found a pair of shoes that was designed for her. It was possible that a cobbler could create something for her rather large toes, but until then, hard light footwear it was.

"Do you have a surname, Dylan? And do you have papers indicating your invitation to the Academy?"

Neither was required, but both helped. Like Cytus, it may be very possible that he did not have one. Nor did Cytus have an invitation to the academy until she had gotten here. That said, asking questions in the middle of the lobby was probably making him uncomfortable.

"If you are uncomfortable, we may leave the lobby if you wish."

Of course, she had already asked if he wanted to move to the office, but had gotten no answer thus far.

Dylan nodded feeling better now knowing someone's name.

"Yes my full name is Dylan James"

Dylan then checked all of his pockets to find the invitation. Of course it was in the last one he checked. It always is the last one he checks.

"Yes here you go here the invitation I got"

Dylan handed over the invitation quickly, smiling now. Finally his new life in this new school was about to start.

"Um yeah it would be nice if we were some were else right now"

Cytus made a mental note of Dylan's first name before pulling out a small device to scan and take a picture of his invitation. Those with invitations had already been entered into the school's computers...it was just a matter of confirming them.

"Please come with me."

Cytus waved her hand, and started walking into the back office, and into a room where most students had been confirmed as students. Another hand guided Dylan to a seat in front of her desk.

"Welcome to the academy Dylan. I would like to ask if your abilities of sorts have taken an unstable turn since your arrival, or if you've been having issues that may compromise the safety of the campus. I understand it is a strange question, but student safety has been a priority.

Not to mention since Carl blew up the cafeteria, it's always been in Cytus' repertoire of questions.

Additionally, I'd like to know if you have any questions for me.

"Well it's just a little strange my power of freezing time hasn't been going off as much. I'm not sure if that's good o'r not. I just think it's because i'm happy to be here

Dylan smiled as he try'd to think of a few questions.

"Um i've only got a few easy questions like my classes and where i'm gonna be living and stuff like that. I would also like to know how people here react to new people and how to introduce myself to them. I never was one for making friends back home see"

Dylan looked down feeling a little bad for asking for so much. He just really wanted not to mess up on his first day at the academy.

Cytus scribbled some notes down in a dialect that nobody quite understood. Possible time mage, someone to look out for probably, but seems reasonable enough.

"If you are not in control of your ability, I will recommend that you take a course as an attempt to gain control."

Time mages were an especially dangerous bunch. Granted they could usually only affect a certain area around them, but for his own sake, it would probably be preferred.

"Other the the class I mentioned earlier, you will receive a full schedule in the coming days, as well as an allocation for room and board. Should you require specialized board, I can make note of it. I am...not the best person to talk to about making friends. I have not found many myself, but many of the school are quite friendly. New students is a very common occurance, and everyone is used to the idea that there are new people in their classes quite often.

Dylan nods feeling a little off hearing his power like that. But is he really not under control of his powers if not what could happen if he messes up and freezes everyone in time.

"Ok i'll look into getting my powers under control. I don't want to mess up the world you know"

Dylan smiles making a note to try and get his power under control. Dylan happily sighs feeling better knowing a lot of new people arrive meaning not as many people will focus on him.

"So is there anything else you need to tell me o'r is it ok for me to leave?

"It is unlikely you will be able to do significant damage, but we prefer that the possibly be negated as much as possible."

Cytus slid a piece of paper across the desk, this time in English, which contained Dylan's schedule, places to eat, dorm assignments, the works. It looks like the interns were goofing off again, and so Dylan's question was something of a relief.

"Yes, you may go, if you have any other questions, please feel free to mail me."
