The residence of Mr. Garnier and his girlfriend? Mistress? Play thing? Adryan really didn't care about that specific relationship, at least yet. He was here to see if there was anything related to why they may have suddenly flipped and started attack people seemingly at random. The thief had to admit, something did seem off about the situation.
Slipping into the residence was way too easy. There were no alarms, no guards, no police, nothing that would stop him. Just a few walls that he easily slipped through to the inside. Looking around, Adryan had to admit that all vampires seemed to have style. "I think it's a requirement to be a vampire," Nux stated inside Adryan's head. He merely huffed and began his search.
Careful not to touch things unnecessarily, Adryan went through the residence with a fine toothed comb. Cabinets, drawers, shelves, even a safe and a hidden stash. He found some very interesting things he would normally like to pocket and take with him, but that wasn't what he was hired for. Information only.
"They're clean. Well....as clean as vampires tend to be. Yea they party but that's nothing that's going to cause someone to basically go feral."
Adryan's brow was furrowed as he was thinking back through his tracks to make sure he had covered everything. He couldn't shake the feeling that something didn't feel right. His gut feelings had kept him out of trouble many times, so he had learned to trust them. It seemed it was working again as the front door handle began to rattle and twist.
The thief quickly vanished from sight and started moving away from the door. Instead of immediately leaving, he hung around to see who was coming in. He didn't think the owners were cleared already, but if they were, maybe he could pick up some information on what happened by eavesdropping.
When the door opened, it was far worse than Adryan could have imagined. Detective Cristina Covaci was directly in sight. She was calling over her shoulder to what seemed to be an investigative team behind her.
"Hang outside till I get a feel of everything. I'd rather not soil anything anymore than we have to."
Rolling the rest of the way into the home, Cris looked around from behind her glasses. Moving to the center of the house, her eyes closed as she focused on everything around her, picking and sorting different bits of DNA. Hair, skin, fluids, anything organic that was left behind was known to her, including a rather unusually fresh bit.
"Hmm...I'll need to ask if they have a housekeeper or sitter for the moment."
Adryan took the hesitation and her closing her eyes to move to a wall and reappear. His heart was pounding inside his chest. This was the closest to being caught by law enforcement that he had been. He had never been caught and never planned on getting caught. Especially not to some MCPD detective in a wheelchair, no matter how good her reputation stated she was.
"Get out get out get out," Nux chided. With that, the thief quickly slipped through the wall and went invisible the moment he was outside. Luckily, the other officers hadn't began to check out the back of the residence as Cris had told them to wait. Her delay was the only thing that allowed him to slip out, but Adryan wasn't about to hang around to thank her as he took off away from the scene. He may not have information on what happened, but surely one of MCPD's best detectives investigating it had to be important.

Reappearing several blocks away and blending into the surrounding mood, Adryan breathed a small sigh of relief before taking out a small burner phone and sending a message to the number Cleo had given him. He needed to get this relayed now if they were going to stay ahead of the police.
