Private Cats and Shadows

The gesture earned Shiro another whine from Quincy, admitting defeat from her feline advantages. Oh, to be a cat person and have that adoration used on you. "Truly, your cuteness is too strong for me," Quincy noted.

Quincy laughed alongside her snicker, straightening up as he continued to walk forward like an escort. "Aye, madame, we're on our way," he responded. Not a few steps further, the pair arrived in the cafeteria, finding a sizeable crowd of students and staff in the room.

Quincy tried to look back at her as if trying to question her request but not even a minute into their stare off, he caved in. "How can I say no when you do exactly just that?" he sighed, a small smile left on his face as he grabbed a tray for Shiro. Not that he could even say no to her -- or anyone at that. He always felt bad to do so. "Alright, my lady, what is it that you wish to be served?" he asked her, straightening up as though he was a butler serving his mistress before following her instruction, completely ignoring anyone else who gave him a raised brow for the funny way he spoke.

"Fish dish coming up!" Quincy chirped, beelining towards the dish in question. He would only giggle at the 'fine servant' comment. Honestly, this was fine; he didn't mind helping and surely Shiro only meant it as a playful joke. Right? He made no attempt to question, taking a serving each or two of what Shiro asked from the salad to picking up the blood pack. He'd never thought he'd grab a blood pack with his own hands but this was fine. Though before did go to the cooler, he picked up a few things for himself. "As the lady commands," he said, as he placed them on their tray before going towards the cooler area. "So, any preferences or do these packs have no difference at all?"

"B positive?" Quincy echoed, as if to double check with Shiro while he picked out a pack that looked newer than the rest before trying to figure where to put in on their tray. He was enjoying the soft purr so he didn't mind having a cat on his head. Maybe he does like cats? That aside. Shiro brought up the game again, earning her a giggle out of him. "Please, you might make victory too easy for me, if so," he replied jokingly, turning towards the cafeteria tables. There was not a lot of people, compared to the morning crowd so getting a good seat should have been easier. His preferred spot was near the windows, but he wasn't sure about Shiro. "How about here?" he asked Shiro, just as he rested the tray on the desk, there were less people there so they wouldnt have to be bothered.

"Honored to be of service," Quincy says with a flourish. Seeing as her grace, the feline royalty, Shiro was satisfied with the table, Quincy took his seat opposite to her. He would take healthy scoops out of his own plate, occasionally getting distracted with Shiro's delighted hums as she ate through her own meal. "Please, your grace, I think you going easy on me is already too much," Quincy tried to say when Shiro offered giving him a reward. Though he'd be silenced when she continued, flushing slightly from the suggestion. Quincy tried to laugh it off, "I-I don't think any blind dates with me would work out."
