A clumsy cat girl wasn't what Cleo had expected to encounter today. So when the girl had dropped a pile of books and fallen, Cleo did something on instinct, she caught her. The green haired girl would blink down at her and giggle a little, "easy there love, don't want you hurting yourself," she hadn't been expecting this, but she wasn't complaining.

Standing the girl back up, she'd give one of her cat ears a pet, and then starting to help her gather bet books. "I'm Cleo," she'd say, in her British accent, with her bright smile, "hope I didn't startle you." She'd brush a bit of her hair back out of her face, "gotta be careful, hate to see you get hurt."

Lexi had been moving a stack of books larger than her. Humming to herself softly. Until....

She tripped on her own feet. Closing her eyes going "AAAAAAAAAAAH!" Not feeling the floor but warm arms. She heard a voice and stared up to the green haired and eyed girl. Staring for a few moments as her cheeks went red. She then looked away and tried to get on her own two feet, being helped and gathering her stuff she looked at the green haired girl.

She felt her ears being pet and let out a light moan of pleasure. Putting a hand over her mouth and quickly getting back on her feet and getting her books together.

"S-Sorry...." She then tried to get herself composed. "I-I'm Lexi...."

She stated looking away. Her ears twitching a bit and her tail wagging lightly. Staring at the groupd and looking away from her green haired savior.

"I'm.. okay. I'm used to falling over." She then sighed heavily.

"D-do you have some water?"

Cleo would giggle at the adorable cat girl, "a pleasure to meet you Lexi, you have some cute ears there." Reaching into her bag she pulled out a water bottle, "here you go hun," she'd offer the water with a smile.

"And no need to apologize," she'd chuckle, "everyone falls sometimes, shoulda seen me a year ago when I first started flying." She'd grin, "I was falling into trees and bushes....just picture a big bird falling because she hasn't figured flying out."

She'd tap one of her fingers in the books, "where you taking these?" the girl would ask curiously. "I can carry them for you, can't sit back while you got such a load."

"The pleasure is mine, Cleo. I.. Like your colour of your hair." She spoke with a light smile on her face. Looking at the water bottle she hesitantly grabs it as she slowly undid the cap and took a small drink from it.

"Mmm.." She hummed to herself lightly. The water was a welcomed help from her busy day. Attempting she hand it back she blinked a few times.

"A-ah.. Well, you should have seen me with climbing." She looked at Cleo with a brighter smile. "but I think watching a big bird fall from the sky would be funny to watch." She retorted with a bit of a giggle.

"With these? I'm going back to the library and need to get some more books!" As most of the books were either high school textbooks and some cook books she had rented. "I'm more than happy with some company."

She began to walk away with the books in her arms.

"S-so.. What class are you in? I'm in high school for now."

"Thank you hun," she'd say with a smile, "your hair is quite nice too." Stepping to Lexi she'd gently take half the books to carry for her, giggling with her, "oh but it's quite embarrassing, big phoenix failing at flying," she'd joked with a grin, "as for climbing, do be careful, though....I wouldn't mind catching you if you fall."

"Well I'll help you carry them there," she'd say with a smile as they walked, "oh, I'm a sophomore in high school," she'd say with a grin, "it's my second year here at Starlight actually." She'd giggle, "if you couldn't tell from my accent I'm from England."

"What about you hun?" she'd adjust the books in her own arms as they walked, "what grade are you in? You look around my age."

"Big Phoenix!?" She stopped and spun around, almost falling over but then catching her balance with a huge smile with a star in her eyes. "Papa's told me so much about them! Apparently they're one of the most beautiful birds in the entire world!" She stated gleefully. With the climbing remark she sort of giggled. "Yeah, I don't fall as much anymore. Though I do love climbing! I used to climb up trees a-" she ended her sentence there and hid her face in a book as she started to walk a bit faster. "N-nevermind!"

"Oh thanks!" She then attempted to hand a few books over. "I'm a.. Freshmen! This is my... Second or Third year on the island, but not at the school." She listened to the accent and nodded her head. "Well, it's a cute accent!" she giggled a bit.

"Mm! Good guess! I'm Fifteen, Sixteen soon!"

Cleo would blush at her calling phoenix the most beautiful birds in the world. "I wouldn't call us the most beautiful," she'd say with a smile, her blush not fading quite yet. "That said, I could show you my phoenix form after we drop off these books of you'd like." Her blush was starting to fade now, but her smile didn't fade.

She'd tilt her head curiously, "what'd you used to do when you climbed?" she'd ask, a curious look on her face, "don't need to feel embarrassed hun, though no need to tell me if you're not comfortable sharing."

Cleo would again blush at her accent being cute, "thank you Lexi," she'd smile and step a but closer to the cat gir. "You're quite sweet," she'd giggle, "I may have to hang around with you more after this."

Lexi giggled and looked to Cloe. "From what I've seen and heard. Poenix are the most beautiful and loving beings in the ALL the world." The all was LOUD. She looked at Cloe.

"Ple- she stopped. Taking a deep breath and then she heard about climbing.

"I-... I... I used to get.... caught in trees." She looked away. Her face a bright red. "N-No. I... Should share... stufftosomeoneIlike." she spoke faster and ever took her books and began talking faster.

"N-no... Don't worry about me... B-but..." She stopped and turned out. "I-I'll go to Library on my own b-b-b-but... If you want... " She took out a piece of paper with her address on it.

"I-I gotta go!" She stated. Putting the books in her bag and climbing a set of walls rather excitedly from the first to the third floor with no problem almost in a blink of an eye.
