Adelaida without hesitation whipped out her phone, handing it over to Aliasse so she could put in any contact information - and anything else that crossed her mind - on it.

"I don't think you owe me jack if I'm being honest, but I like your company and if that's an excuse to hang out I'll take it,"
she said, grinning wide. Aliasse was an interesting catch, and at the very least she could learn a little more self-defense from the woman.

But she stopped herself. A little thought crossed her mind, which asked for a change of plans.

"You know what, I don't think I'd like our next meeting to be repayment of favors. So how's about you help me cart this boat home, we call it quits, and see if we're meant to just be two ships passing in the night or anything more."

Aliasse tapped in her number and gave the phone back. Then realizing that she had her phone with her since the start, took it out of her pocket and checked if it was still alive, which it was. The casing was a bit wet, but it didn't seem like water got into the electronics, which was a blessing. The ports were covered by rubber plugs, so they were dry too. She could sigh in relief. She looked back to Adelaida and gave a shrug. "Sure, why not. But right now, that last bit is on you or chance. I don't have your number, you have mine, so if you don't contact me, we'll just have to bump into each other another time. Hopefully not in the same scenario."

"Don't worry, I'm definitely calling. I've got a lotta whiskey at home that doesn't taste right alone," Adelaida said. She took a quick glance at the number, and saved it to her own memory. It wasn't difficult, compared to a lot of the things she'd internalized alone.

Adelaida began packing up the rowboat, putting aside the oars and getting the wheels together. She was about ready to send it home, and at the same time, she could show Aliasse a bit of her little home. "Actually, I'd have invited you for some today, but you were pretty insistent on 'we don't know each other that well'."

Aliasse stood by the rowboat, ready to help Adelaida haul the thing back to wherever she lived. She amused herself at the thought of whiskey. Honestly, it could still be taken as predatory. Though at least it wasn't as forward as the last time, and she actually knew Adelaida a bit more. Plus, Rosetta hadn't called in an omen after all this time, so at least she could say she wasn't in harms way. "Maybe next time then. Extra motivation to actually call."

Now that she had some assistance, Adelaida began the short trek to her seaside home. The boat rolled along just fine, and she really didn't need the assistance, but it was nice to have company on the way home.

It was not a long walk. The house was barely off of the coast to begin with. She liked it that way - it meant she could always have her midnight boat rides to relax.

She led the boat to a modest two-story home only a few minutes walk from the beach-side. The first floor was mostly garage, and she stored the boat inside it with a bit of assistance.

"Welcome to my home. You ever need a place to crash, or you want a drink, or anything strikes your fancy, feel free to walk right in. I don't really leave it locked cause it's not like there's much to steal other than a used boat."

"You really leave you home unlocked?" Aliasse couldn't believe anyone could be that trusting, even when there's nothing much inside, a thief's a thief, and likely armed. She shook her head. "I don't know how you can sleep at night with unlocked doors, but I'm not about to nag on you."

Adelaida pushed the boat into the garage. The first floor of her home was mostly this storage space, and a few boxes remained unopened in it.

She gave Aliasse a tap on the back as she walked in. "Nice night tonight. Thanks for that."

Before she entered the house itself, she turned around one last time. "I'll save the hugs for when we know each other better, m'kay?"
