Appearance Description: Cat is a fairly average looking girl by her own definition, not seeing herself as very pretty because she tends to be overlooked and tries to blend in with the background.
Her hair is cut short to just above her neck and curls out at the ends naturally. It has a soft brown colour instead of the usual bright pink. She generally has it tucked behind her ears although sometimes she uses a headband or pins it back with hair clips. It’s growing out, but it isn’t quite long enough for a proper ponytail.
Cat's skin isn't pale or dark, nor even tan, but rather somewhere between tan and pale, spotted with freckles. Her nails are always clipped short unevenly because she bites them, but sometimes they will have scratched-off nail polish instead. Cat has a relatively slender hourglass form, standing at about 5'4 and weighing just over 140lbs. She isn't very thickset, but she isn't stick thin in the slightest sense of the term.
Cat’s style is changing, using her appearance as armour instead of it being just something comfortable. She’s trying to be a little more chic, without making herself stand-out.
Personality Description: Cat has had her ups and downs on Manta Carlos, and she’s learned a lot. She’s much more confident, hiding her day-to-day fears instead of letting it be clear that she’s scared. She’s trying to avoid being dependant on others, trying to be confidant in the fact that she belongs on Manta Carlos, even though she knows very well on the inside that she wasn’t there for a reason. She’s convinced herself that while her powers are fading, so is people’s acceptance of her. Cat knows that no one would outright tell her that she no longer belongs on Manta Carlos, but that doesn’t stop her from telling herself this.
She’s constantly feeling scared or anxious in public, and even at home. She finds solace in her work creating perfumes, and in her possible past caring for guns. Her shot is awful, but the methodical, extensive cleaning, is just as good for calming her nerves as is the delicate procedure of mixing chemicals to create a beautiful scent. She throws herself into her work with 110% to avoid making it obvious that she’s not as okay as she wants people to believe. She’s nothing but smiles and cheer at work and at school,
Powers: Cat has one distinctive power which splits into two, both revolving around her being similar to a battery. One is entirely passive and hard to control, whereas the other reacts based on her instincts.
Cat acts as psychic mirror, which allows her to act as an amplifier for others, and a battery for ghosts. Her ability affects all magical beings, however it is possible for it to be ignored if the magic being knows how. Cat herself cannot actively control who her power goes to, however her touch increases the amplification. Her power has been waning for months, and is currently less than half of what it was originally. She does not have enough energy to access her ‘bubble’, and the power is steadily draining.
Species Abilities: none.
Biography: Cat doesn't remember anything before waking up in the middle of Manta Carlos.
Before losing her memory, Cat was the daughter of a soldier living in a small italian town. The town was known for its gang activity, and her father did as much as he could to keep them safe. Her mother had passed away long ago due to illness, and her younger sister was beginning to show signs of it as well.
The only memory Cat will be able to catch glimpses of is the day her father was killed. She had been reading in the window of her bedroom which overlooked a small town square with a fountain in the center. Her father had been returning from work when he was confronted by a man in a yellow suit. The two spoke for a minute, before the yellow man shot her father's head twice. Cat watched stunned as the yellow man approached her house accompanied by other men, while her younger sister came running to her in terror. The yellow man reached her sister moments before Cat could reach out and take her hand, and slit the small brunette’s throat. The last thing Cat saw before blacking out was glowing blue lights.
