Cam frowned a bit when Morgan warned him, told him to be careful. Annoyance flared again, Morgan really wasn't in the position to say that to him. But he sighed heavily and shook his head a bit.
"I make no promises. You know me, so you know I have the hbit of keeping my head."
Cam hd the courage to grin slightly, a small challenge in his eyes. A challenge for Morgan to try and stop him. Morgan wouldn't, because they both knew Morgan wouldn't be able to stop Cam until he had fought to the bitter end.

Cam sighed and rolled his eyes but a small smile lit up his face. Naturally he knew morbid was part of the package, and he would never change Morgan in any way. He loved his brother, morbidness and all.
"Well, at least...try. I know you are capable of at least trying."
Cam patted Morgan's shoulder and sat back down, his lower body starting to ache a bit from balancing.

Morgan sighed deeply. He knew he wouldn’t be able to stop Cam, that’s why his attempts could barely be called attempts. But he wanted to at least try to make Cam be cautious. He wouldn’t be able to bare it if Cam died to save Morgan. He knew that Cam would be devastated by his own loss, but Morgan truly felt that Cam deserved more of a chance to live than himself.

He sat back down as Cam did, and watched him with caution. “Fine, I’ll try.” He definitely sounded sarcastic, but underneath the sarcasm, there was the slightest glimmer of honesty. He sighed as he looked at Cam. “Let’s just talk... not about any of that. Just about what we’ve been doing, right?” He wanted to change the subject since he knew it would go on forever otherwise. The two of them truly could argue the debate until one of them actually died. But, Morgan had begun to realise how little time he had left. Just a few months at best. He wouldn’t spend that time arguing with Cam, or contemplating his situation. He wanted to spend time with his family and friends, and try to actually be more his age for once. If it truly was the end, he didn’t want to waste it.

Cam was fine with debating, since he was good at it and often won. But as he looked at Morgan Cam lost the will to fight. The look in Morgan's eyes was unarming. So he leaned back and sighed deeply, fidgeting with the prosthetic he had put to the side earlier. He had questions. Was Morgan going to tell mom and dad? What about their siblings? The few friends Morgan had back home? How much was few months? But as Morgan voiced that he wanted to talk about something else, anything else, Cam held the questions back. They had no meaning anyway. Because Morgan would not die.
"How rare. You actually want to chat."
Cam was teasing but there was a small sad undertone to his words.
"Well, the other day..."
Cam launched into a monologue about his first days on the island and what had happened and what he had seen. He was talking with his hands a lot and smiled, trying to drown the gloomy athmosphere that now surrounded them.
