Candy House: Night

The first human that came towards him was ignoring him, but there was another worthless piece of flesh human. So with a flick of his tail he changed his view from the one in front to the new one. He then reached his mind forward and spoke to the new human. "You, worthless human, have you seen a bug like creature devouring all in it's path? It is my slave and I have lost track of it." Jones was not anticipating much more from this human then the other one. He just wanted to get his slave and leave this retched place.

There were goblins, Maneating furniture, Bleeding walls, and now a Cat.

It stared at the Van hobo, like a Cat does, but it didn't react when the large Jake-wolf appeared. Weird.

Then it stared at Victor, and a voice entered his head. It wasn't very polite, but it explained the strange behavior.

"No, not really. But did you have to be so rude?" Maybe the pressure was starting to get to him. Even if it did find its slave, it was still stuck here until dawn with the rest of them.

Well that was disappointing, these humans have not seen Nasci either. "odd, I could have sworn on my whiskers that she was in this dirrection." His mental voice still carrying to the second human.

When the human ffilth told him he shouldn't be so rude Jones just rolled his eyes, he was going to need to educate this one too. "I act the way I am supposed to act for I am a Cat. And as a Cat I am superior to all other creatures for they are prey."

As Jones finished however a disgusting goblin flung itself out of the shadows at him. It reached forward as if to pluck the cat from the ground. However Jones had known about this potential assailant and when the goblin touched the cat it was flung at freeway speeds into the wall on the other side of the cat... the hand and arm that had been reaching for the cat fell off, severed from the body. As which exploded on impact with the wall and blood. When everything settled and the smears were shown, none of it seemed to stick to the cat. "worthless hunters."

Did the cat just roll its eyes? Is that even phsyiologically possible? Yes, this Vain Cat is the weirdest part of the night so far.

It seemed to follow the Ancient Egypt beliefs, who believed that Cats were from the Gods or something like that. Its own power didn't help, utterly destroying a Goblin whereas he had just been knocking them out. This Cat could destroy a city if it wanted.

For some reason, it didn't faze him. Of course a talking Cat could Falcon-Punch its enemies. Wait that gave him an Idea.

"Can you break the Wall?" He wanted to go home, so he had almost no weakness in his voice. If the Cat didn't want to help......

Jones shook his head at the human, though he did ask a honest question. So it warranted an answer. "I have tried, it resists my efforts. But I feel my slave could open up a hole for us. She has the ability to eat anything so I feel that is my best chance of escaping." What he did not mention however was that he was more likely to feed these mortal human to Nasci without a second thought but it was a matter of finding the large bug that he called his slave. "If you wish to follow I don't care. I just want to get out of this slimey crap stain of a building."

"Okay, I'll help you find your... companion." He refrained from saying the word slave, it just sounded too medieval. He still didn't feel right about it, like the Cat shouldn't find her, and bad things would happen if he did. However, he suppressed this feeling, as it sounded like their best bet out of here.

"Then follow or not, I shall not care either way." Jones said as he kept walking down the hall. Nasci was bound to be here somewhere and something as large as her couldn't hide all that easily could it? It was here that Jones decided to try again and look for his slave with his mind and reached out hunting for her. "Nasci, slave. Where are you. Your master has some foolish humans that might help satisfy your empty stomach." Of course he did not project these thoughts to his 'companions' for they would prance away like prey if they got word of what he was doing. For one always gave treats to their pets or slaves if they obeyed.
