After so suns and moons alone in the Forbidden Forest... Pallavi was finally back at home. Yet... home was no longer how she knew it... and the people she left behind were still missing as she learned that many of those people once close to her had either long since died or have moved on without her. Those whom remained such as her mother though her as ghost and in some ways that his how she felt: a ghost. All of the hopes she had reclaiming the life she once knew were dashed upon learning of the reality of her situation and she had been having trouble readjusting ever since. The school has been don't their best to accommodate her best as they could but they probably noticed how troubled she was. Troubled enough that one of her handlers had the school arrange for a child therapist to... talk to her. She... wasn't sure such a person would help her but... she didn't have the heart to refuse the meeting so... here she was now outside the door... 20 minutes late.

It wasn't like she meant to be this late! She was... super lost trying to navigate the new buildings at the school and she lost track of the time while trying to find the room. Part of her just wanted to leave and... forget the whole thing but... as her father used to say it was better late than never so... late it is. Pallavi stared at the doorknob, grimacing for a bit before letting out and reaches out to open the door. The door slowly creaked open, and though the space Pallavi poked her head though the door to look inside. Then it just occurred to her that she didn't knocks so she struck the door frame several times with her knuckles to announce her presence.

"U-uhh... h-hello... I'm Pallavi.... err... Pallavi Weathers? I am... here for the session with... Mr. Hoffnung. Sorry if... if I am a little late..." said Pallavi, sounding sheepish as she introduces herself from the doorway.

Although he was a laidback guy for the most part, unconcerned with people's appearances and actions if they weren't hurting anyone, one thing Stephan did try to be more strict was sticking to a schedule. But this was mostly for his own benefit - some of his alters got cranky if they weren't allowed out regularly.

He'd been warned that his new patient both had difficulty walking around and trouble with time, so he'd made sure to clear some time after this appointment just in case. He'd noticed that Pallavi was late, but he just used the extra time to set up this spare office a bit. Mostly pulling out chairs so they could face each other without a desk in the way and opening up a window for some fresh air.

When he felt someone approaching, Stephan turned to the door with a smile. One he hoped was not too wide - some human patients said his smile was kinda creepy, and he hoped to avoid that.

"Hello, Miss Weathers. Or would you prefer Pallavi? Feel free to take any seat... Or you can stand if that is more comfortable. And there's no need to worry about the time. We'll still be able to have a full session."

With that Stephan moved to allow the girl to get comfortable before he'd start talking again.

"... ummm... just Pallavi... Miss Weathers makes me think of my mum... sorry if that is weird." spoke up Pallavi, still hiding most of her body behind the door. She was silently thankful that the therapist didn't make her lateness too much of big deal. If anything... maybe he was a little too eager to see her, there is something about his Cheshire-like smile that gave her a bit of the ebbie-jeebies.

Still, at this point there was no backing out so after a brief silence Pallavi slithered herself inside the room... all 40 of her. First it was her her massive petals squeezing through the doorframe, then followed by her extensive roots interweaves with bones that allow her to undulate in a snake-like fashion to Stephan until she was face to face with him. Once settled, her snake-like body devolves into a tangled mess of roots with bones poking out from the mass with Pallavi sitting at its center on top her flower as if it were a throne.

"... ummm... so... " Pallavi looks around, unsure of what to really "... sorry I... umm... do you... ask me questions first? Or... do I start talking about myself? Sorry I... I never been to one of these before..."

"Not weird at all. Many people prefer their first names. " Having been practically raised by an eldritch cult, Pallavi was hardly the strangest thing Stephan had ever seen. But 40 feet was large. His cheerful attitude didn't falter as he quickly moved back even farther to give the girl some space. It was probably a good thing he'd borrowed a room at the school because he wasn't certain she'd be able to fit in his normal office.

"There's a first time for everything, no need to apologize. This first session is more.. you can think of it as an introduction. You should know that everything you say here is confidential. The only time I have to report is if someone is in immediate danger. This is a safe place for you to talk about anything that might be going on for you. Why don't you tell me what brings you here? It's not a quiz - you can say whatever comes to mind."

"Oh, sorry for apologizing. I- blimey... there I go again. Sorry I don't mean to sorry so much..." Pallavi just let out sigh after apologizing for needless apologizing. She can't help it. People have said that she says sorry so much and maybe they are right but... she has a lot to apologize for now doesn't she? She shakes off the though, remembering the reason why she was here.

"... uhh... so why I am here? Well... uhh... the people at the school said that I should come and speak with you because... because they said that you could help if I just talked with you?"

Pallavi then sighed, her fingers feeling along a old burn on her arm as reminder of more perilous times.

"Well... I guess I came here because have been feeling a lot of... disappointment? I... only recently been able to return home but now that I am back... everything changed."

Pallavi, looks away, grimace grows on her face before she turns back and asks.

"Ummm... the school told you who and... what I am now right?"
