Alma had heard about this girl. What she could do. And it intrigued her. Got her heart racing. She hadn't really admitted it, but Alma had been feeling rather naked without her wings. And if this girl could give them back, frankly Alma would do slmost anything.

She had found Amilia by asking around. It wasn't hard. Follow the trail of people with animal features who didn't have them before.

The cafeteria was bustling as Alma weaved her way through it. She saw her, Amalia, sitting off to one side. Alma inhaled sharply and approached, putting on her best fanged smile.

"Hey there! I'm Alma. Alma Malivani. Student council auditor. How are you doing today?"

Amalia sat there, watching the crowd with glee. So many people, so much variety. Today she had cow horns, giving her the appearance of a demon, but she didn't mind. Very few people here seemed to care as well.

When Alma arrived, she smiled back up at the girl. Now, this was a real demon, she just knew. "Hiya, I'm Amalia. I'm new here, but I like the school a real lot!"

How would this girl look with cow horns? Probably amazing, Amalia thought. Maybe she should use Goat horns first, see what that's like?

Alma grinned, her pupils widening to become long and goat-like. That's great! I'm glad you're liking it so far. Mind if I sit with you?"

She had horns. Like... real horns. That was not something she'd heard about Amalia. So she was the real deal, at least it seemed that way.

She could only stare as Alma's eyes dilated. "That's amazing. I had cat eyes once, but I couldn't see them." Amalia smiled.

Tapping the seat next to her, she shuffled over to give her some more space. "Sure. It's nice here. Everyone wants to talk to me!" A pair of cows appeared on her head, and she wiggled them, not losing her smile.

Alma's grin widened and she slid into the seat across from Amalia, leaning ever so slightly forward on her elbows. "I bet. You've been kinda popular with th-" she paused when the other girl grew a set of cow's ears and wiggled them. Giggling a bit Alma wiggled her own ears, long and pointed like an elf's, back at her. "Cute. But yeah, that thing you do."

Alma's smile didn't really diminish, but it did soften. She wasn't trying to lead this girl on or anything; Alma had a specific purpose for seeking her out today. "And actually, I was hoping... given what you can do that you could help me with something maybe?"

She didn't care why Alma was talking to her, Amalia just loved the attention. "Yeah. I can help. I can give you feathers, scales, or even fur. Why stop there, I can probably make you an entire Bat. Well almost. You won't actually be a Bat. Bats are Scary!" At the last part, she lost her smile, and sounded really uncertain, looking down at her food.

Shaking her head to forget, Amalia looked back up at Alma. "So, any preferences or my choice?"

Alma couldn't help but laugh a little. Was it really that obvious what she was after? Still, she leaned forward and lowered her voice conspiratorially. "I used to have bat wings. They kind of shrank and fell off during the second wave of the March Virus earlier this year. And frankly? I've missed them. I kinda want them back, if you can manage that."

"Oh my god, I was just thinking about bat wings!" She said in surprise. It was like Alma could read her mind. Amalia had no clue what this march virus was, but if they removed the WIngs she wanted, then it must have been absolutely horrible.

Focussing again, SHe nodded. "Aye, I can do that. What type of wings did you want?" Amalia knew there were lots of Bat species, but Alma probably already had an idea.

Alma nodded excitedly and wrapped her tail around so that Amalia could see the soft black leathery skin and the silky black fur that adorned it. "So I want something to match my tail. But big. The wings I was born with were really small, but I want to be able to... did you ever watch Gargoyles? The thing that Goliath did where he put his wings around himself like a cloak. I want to be able to do that."

Alma paused. She was getting excited, getting ahead of herself. "Well. There's a few more things. Like. This is permanent, right? And uh..."

She leaned in close, whispering now. "Also if you could, could you not tell anyone I was asking about this? I wanna surprise my boyfriends."

Amalia laughed. This was her gift to her boyfriends? "Sure, I can make it permanent!" She knew of a few species that matched it, but if she wanted big wings...

"Follow me!" Without warning, she left her food on the table and ran outside, not even checking to see if Alma followed her.

Once she crossed the door's threshold, people could she no longer had the Horns and ears. There was a crumpled mess on her back though.

Stooping on the lawn outside, she waved her hands. "Tada!" Extending her wings, the most obvious thing was that they were huge, each long was probably as long as she was tall. "My mom feeds these bats for years, and I learnt to fly with them!"
