Caius is a hard man, upon an initially meeting he'll likely come off as extremely calm, collected, stern to most people. This is brought on by a long life of war and conflict, yes he's strong of will and can stay calm under most circumstances, but he's a deeply kind man, he loves people. He became a scout to ensure children don't experience the things he did, he'd do anything to protect the young from the horrors the world can present. That said he understands that children grow up and will have to face that world as adults. He's a farther, loves his daughter very much, he's stern but fair with her, though like many father he'll melt to her wants at times, and generally shows more of his softer emotions with them. He's seen a lot of things, both good and bad, and is willing to share to knowledge and wisdom he's gained even though he can be a bit gruff around the edges.
•Passive:
-Guiding Eyes: he's able to see lost wolf being spirits even if their invisible, as well as speak to them. This allows him to communicate with them, guide them to the Everlasting Forest.
-Enhanced Senses: Has the senses of a wolf while in human and wolf form, werewolf form's is twice as strong.
-Enhanced Healing: Most flesh wounds heal within a few minutes.
-Enhanced Strength: While human he can bend steel, wolf forms can tear it.
•Active:
-Portal to Home: he's able to create a portal to The Everlasting Forest via a ceremony.
The Ceremony: it requires a bit of blood from a fresh kill, with most guardians it would require a circle with symbols drawn in it. Caius has eliminated such a need by getting the symbols tattooed on his arms. So with him, he places the blood in his hands, focuses his magic and creates a portal.
• Limits:
Only Guardian Wolves and wolf spirits can use the portal.
Must be done at night under the light of the moon. The phases of the moon dictate how long the portal can remain open.
-New Moon: 5 minutes
-Waxing Crescent: 15 minutes
-First Quarter: 25 minutes
-Waxing Gibbous: 30 minutes
-Full Moon: 60 minutes
Can shift into a wolf and humanoid wolf form, both of which can run 50 miles an hour.
•Weaknesses:
-Silver: Like many werewolves, he has a bad vulnerability to silver. It burns his skin, it touching his important organs will likely be lethal, and it turns off his healing factor making it to where those injuries heal at the rate of a human.
-Full Moon: During full moons he's forced to shift, during this time he's more predator than anything else. During his younger days he would go nearly beserk, hunting anything. As he's gotten older he's gained more control over it, he's now able to "aim" the hunting instincts toward only animals, but his predatory instincts are still very strong, if someone were to accidentally attack him he'd likely snap and try and kill them. So overall the full moon is still a dangerous time.

•Caius is very well off, has income from his profession and money given to him by his home country after the war.
-Orentran, a relatively under-known country within Europe. Like the rest of the world, most of it's populace are unaware of the existence of the supernatural. However, its high ranking government and military officials were aware of it, and had a secret agreement, supernatural beings were allowed to live there in secret, if they remained peaceful. So the country had a decently high population of supernatural beings, especially werewolves.
-The country had a long historic association with the moon and wolves, legends stated a moon goddess started the nation as a haven for lycans.
-Caius was born there to a large werewolf family, his father acted as the liaison between the supernatural community and the Orentran government. He did his best to keep things balanced, make sure the supernatural beings continued to have a place in the country.
-But when Caius was ten things started to change, a werewolf serial killer began killing and eating humans. Caius' father personally tracked down and killed the serial killer, but the damage was already done. In the following years, more and more secret conflicts between the human government and their supernatural occurred.
-Then when he was fifteen it all fell in, a military leader and mage led a covert campaign against the supernatural, a secret war had begun. Both sides insured that the veil was maintained, no one would ever know the truth.
-Eventually Caius and his family were captured and taken to a secret military base, where the truth was revealed. That military leader had caused it all, the werewolf serial killers had been created in his lab, supernatural supersoldier experiments.
-During their time there Caius saw horrible things, werewolves being tortured and experimented on. He did his best to help his family escape, this earned him a x-shaped brand on the face.
-Eventually, the werewolves fought back all over the base, many people died, Caius and his family were killed. Caius' spirit made it's way to the Everlasting Forest where he met the goddess of legend, the mother of wolves, Anyslia. She chose him to be a guardian, and sent him back to the land of the living.
-He awoke among the chaos, gathered the surviving werewolves and escaped. Though deeply troubled by his family's death, he knew he couldn't mourn just yet, gathering werewolves, they attacked the base. It all ended that night, the military was captured and his crimes and manipulations revealed to the government. The war ended and security for the supernatural citizens was restored.
-But many of the supernatural community did not forgive, and many left to seek sanctuary elsewhere. Caius himself lost faith in his home, so he left and began wandering. His country having given him a large amount of money, in order to aid him in starting over.
-He spent years living as a nomad, at times working as a mercenary often helping other supernatural beings.
-Finally he arrived at Manta Carlos, settled down and built a life for himself.

Followers of the Moon: an ancient religion originally very common among wolf beings. It's based around a a moon goddess named Anyalia mother of Wolves. She welcomes the souls of wolf beings into her realm, The Everlasting Forrest. A infinite hunting ground where there is infinite animals to hunt, and the center is a large mountain that acts as home to Anyalia and all wolves who've entered her realm.
The Tenants of the Hunt: while some do have shrines and such Anyalia, in truth the only thing you need to do is follow the tenants, a series of rules similar to the honor system some warriors follow.
1: Hunt to Live, Don't Live to Hunt: hunting should be viewed as a necessity, to gain food or defend your home, that's not to say a hunter can't enjoy what they do, but trophy hunters and sadists will not enter the The Everlasting Forest.
2: The Young Are Not Prey: Anyalia views all sentient wolf beings as her children, she does her best to protect and guide them, as such she expects her followers to spare children, they are not prey even if their the children of enemies.
Guardian Wolves: wolf beings chosen to directly serve Anyalia as both warrior priests, but also as guides to the lost souls of wolf beings, who they guide to the Everlasting Forest.
