During the summer, the beaches where a hotbed of water waders and sun bathers. The winter is an entirely different story entirely as the beach was sparely populated by lonesome beach combers and occasional fisherman. Yet braving these chilly was Arnaaluk, whom found comfort swimming carefree under the rolling waves that most would find to frigid. After swimming for several hours already for most of the day, Arnaaluk wished to rest and so emerged seafoam waves like an emerging Venus cladded in simple swimwear. After a couple of stretches once out of the water, the orca woman strides on over to their belongings set out on beach towel. While on her way she notices person nearby and, not wanting to come of as rude, says something to them.

"Ah, hello there. Lovely day for a swim isn't?" greeted Arnaaluk, picking up a towel as they dry themselves off. Well it was at least a lovely weather for her, knowing that not many appreciated the cold weather as she does.

Sasha watched as the mist floated out of her mouth as she breathed into the daylight air. She shivered as she pulled her hood over her head and underneath the ice blue halo hovering above her head. She had debated actually putting on the hoodie on because it would mess up the simple look she was going for, but the moment her bare pale skin made contact with winter’s famous bite, she relented almost immediately. She regretted that her only substantial jacket was for when she was feeling a bit more demonic , and as a result it had the familiar yet slightly embarrassing words “Where are you looking” plastered where her chest would be.

She was off of work for the day, something about the boss wanting her to enjoy the winter air as she would be busy for the next couple days, both in her job of helping her boss at the funeral home and the harvesting and escorting of the souls of the dead that seemed to hang around their mortal coil. She sighed, it was hard work and honestly it was something that she found troublesome from time to time, just because many of the people she had been escorting recently had been more bound to going to a positive afterlife.

She pondered for a little bit as she considered where to explore, and after a couple minutes of changing in between going to the M3C or somewhere new, she decided that she might as well go somewhere she hadn’t been before. She then took one or two minutes to fall onto her final destination. The shore would be an interesting place to visit as there were always people that seemed to differ in sensibility and opinions compared to anywhere else. It was almost universal in her opinion, no matter where she went, it could definitely prove to be interesting at least.

After a while of traveling, she finally made it to the ocean. She could smell and almost taste the salt in the air as she stepped onto the cold sand. Sasha didn’t see much except for a certain towel that seemed to be spread out with what seemed the person’s belongings strewn on top. Sasha smiled to herself as she situated herself in a position to be easily seen when the owner would come back. While she waited though, she pulled out her “Scythe” and turned it into a small ukulele and strummed the strings absentmindedly until she saw the water in front of her part to reveal what seemed to be an orca woman.

After listening to what the woman said, she replied with a soft smile.

“It’s a bit too cold for me to swim to be honest, but it looks like you enjoyed it! I hope you aren’t too cold, it can get extremely freezing in the ocean when its this time of year!”

"Ha... you're funny. This is nothing compared the arctic... but your concern is appreciated." commented Arnaaluk as she takes a set by the lady and dries herself off with her towel "Arnaaluk by the way... nice to meet you."

The ocra lady then offers a handshake to the lady. Upon seeing the ukulele, Arnaaluk leaned in a bit take a looksee at the instrument and nods approvingly to the lady

"That instrument you carry... its a ukulele right? I take it that you are a musician then?" pointed out Arna

"Oh I'm Sasha, nice to meet you Arnaaluk. You used to swim in the arctic huh? That must have been an interesting experience. I rarely was allowed to travel there myself. Though whenever I did, it was always amazing to look at. The sheer amount of ice and temperatures stinging my skin. It was an amazing experience whenever I was there."

She beams at the mention of her ukelele.

"I am! I love music, its a really great way to pass the time and honestly its something that you can connect people with. Everyone loves music in one shape or another I feel. At least I have never seen anyone who vehemently hated it."

She giggles a little bit, burying herself a little bit into her jacket.

"Do you play any music then? I'm curious!"

"Used to live in the artic actually. It's cold waters a comfort in in blue green glory. The great ice sheets and rugged coastlines that inspire awe! I could go on and on about my home but... the longer I speak of it the more homesick I feel." Arna then reflect on the home which she left behind. Be she tries to not let it bother her for long as she moved on with the conversation.

"I cannot say that I know of anyone whom detest music and song but I can only imagine how hallow one's existence be without such joys." commented Arna as her culture was rich with music. When question about being able to play an instrument she got sheepish and started twirling her brown licks of hair.

"Eerr... as for an instrument? I am many things. A hunter. A craftswoman. A singer. But a musian... not so much. I mean I used to play on a seal skin drum but... wouldn't say that I am much of a musician..."
